Ling Lingqi was roped into playing an old lady. After the filming was completed, she nervously lowered her head, ready to change out of the costume, when Bo Hai suddenly called out to her. Ling Lingqi thought Bo Hai had recognized her. Before he could speak, she abruptly looked up, and her wig hit Bo Hai's face. Ling Lingqi hurriedly ran away, little did she know Bo Hai only wanted to discuss work-related matters with her.
Bo Hai arrived at the lounge, holding his forehead. He saw Ling Lingqi thank him with an apologetic look. It turned out Ling Lingqi was thanking Bo Hai for always trusting her and tolerating her emotional nature. Bo Hai looked up and smiled, and Ling Lingqi was captivated by Bo Hai's refreshing smile. But at that moment, Zhou Xinyan's words echoed in her ears, and her mood dropped again.
After all, no matter how good-looking Bo Hai's smile was, it had nothing to do with her. With a clap of her hands, Ling Lingqi emotionally retorted that Bo Hai's smile was truly ugly! The film set's scenery had been restored thanks to the efforts of Ling Lingqi and Bo Hai.
Seeing Ling Lingqi was very tired, Bo Hai handed her a cup of coffee. Ling Lingqi was worried the set manager would still cause trouble for Huajia. Seeing her so nervous, Bo Hai taught her to play games to relieve stress. Ling Lingqi found it a bit childish, but under Bo Hai's strong recommendation, she couldn't resist trying it herself. Seeing Ling Lingqi clumsy, Bo Hai anxiously wrapped his arm around her and took over the controls himself.

Inside the studio, Bo Hai sat dejectedly, with Ling Lingqi standing beside him. Wen Guangqi brought up the two things Bo Hai had promised everyone that day: first, to repair the set, and second, to identify the responsible party. The first matter had clearly failed. Immediately after, Wen Guangqi pointed his finger at Ling Lingqi, claiming she was responsible for the accident.
To everyone's surprise, Ling Lingqi tossed her head back and burst out laughing, telling Bo Hai that she couldn't act anymore. Bo Hai then stood up and led everyone to another studio. It turned out the set had long been repaired, and the crew had successfully resumed work. Seeing this, reporters brought up the relationship between Bo Hai and Wen Guangqi again. Wen Guangqi walked out of the studio with angry strides.
Wen Guangqi and Shi Ji discussed how to turn the tables, unwittingly revealing everything about their scheme to frame Bo Hai. Little did the two know that this conversation was being live-streamed by Mo Nan, and the reporters immediately understood the truth. Mo Nan taunted Wen Guangqi again, and only then did Wen Guangqi notice the wiretap on him.

Mo Nan could only say that he had had a bit of a spat with Ling Mama. Ling Lingqi dragged Mo Nan away for a big meal, and the two successfully reconciled. He Minglang gave high praise to Huajia's design and also paid an additional bonus for Huajia's team-building activities. Bo Hai had high praise for Mo Nan, feeling that Mo Nan was overqualified as a mere specialist. Mo Nan, however, politely declined Bo Hai. Bo Hai meaningfully patted him on the shoulder. Chen Mo believed Bo Hai should give Mo Nan a promotion opportunity. Bo Hai, however, thought Mo Nan was very suspicious, even though he didn't understand why Mo Nan would help him deal with Wen Guangqi. Lu Baoni believed Bo Hai was still interested in Ling Lingqi.
Just then, Mo Nan quietly appeared behind the two, stating that Bo Hai only made Ling Lingqi the on-site set manager because he thought she was foolish. Ling Lingqi and Lu Baoni sighed upon hearing this. William fully entrusted the Huajia acquisition project to Mo Nan. Ji Bin believed Mo Nan targeted Wen Guangqi because of Ling Lingqi. Through this incident, Mo Nan saw his true feelings.
He couldn't let go of Ling Lingqi and secretly decided to balance the relationship between Chuangxiang and Ling Lingqi. Ling Lingqi was currently chatting with her parents. Her parents both felt that Bo Hai definitely had some feelings for Ling Lingqi, and they believed Zhou Xinyan's one-sided story was merely to mislead Ling Lingqi.
