Fa Hai, maintaining his detached demeanor, firmly told her he would never see her and to stop coming to Jinshan Temple. As Fa Hai turned to leave, Xiao Qing broke down in tears. To spite Fa Hai, Zhan Huang subtly used his power to infest an old man's newly received bag of rice with worms, causing a commotion.
Fa Hai, however, remained calm and effortlessly restored the rice to its original state, making the worms vanish as if nothing had happened. As Fa Hai walked away, Zhan Huang whispered into Xiao Qing's ear, suggesting that instead of fruitlessly chasing after Fa Hai, she should join him and "do whatever you like in this world."
