Xian Qing was no match for Ge Qingfei and was seriously injured. After Ming Xiu helped diagnose him, she found his injuries were too severe and decided to take him back to Yu Qingshan for treatment. Luo Zhaoyan was worried about Xian Qing and went with them to Yu Qingshan. On the other side, Qi Li Xiao Yuan's strength was too formidable. In order to protect Yue Qi, Yue Jinzhao accidentally fell off a cliff into the lake below.

Yue Qi jumped into the lake without hesitation. Yue Qi gave Yue Jinzhao breaths underwater. The two gazed at each other affectionately, their hearts pounding. Yue Qi rescued Jinzhao to the shore. The two originally planned to go find Ju Shifang, but were unexpectedly stopped by Gao Xiao and Meng Cheng. Gao Xiao used his flute to summon a water monster from the lake to deal with Yue Qi and Jinzhao. The two were no match for the water monster.

Yue Jinzhao wanted Yue Qi to find an opportunity to escape and go find Luo Zhaoyan to come back and rescue him. But Yue Qi was unwilling to leave Yue Jinzhao alone to fight the water monster. Seeing Jinzhao about to be swallowed by the water monster, Yue Qi began casting a spell and directly killed the water monster with a sword, rescuing Yue Jinzhao.

--- Ming Xiu and Luo Zhaoyan brought Xian Qing to Yu Qingshan to seek treatment from the Yu Qingshan sect leader, Gu Hanjiang. After diagnosing him, Gu Hanjiang found that Xian Qing's cultivation had been severely depleted. He wouldn't wake up anytime soon, and even if he did, his power would be greatly reduced. Yue Jinzhao was injured and unconscious. Yue Qi felt very helpless about this.

Luo Zhaoyan, hidden in the dark, overheard the conversation between Gu Hanjiang and Ming Xiu and only then learned about the events of that year. Luo Zhaoyan was unwilling to owe Xian Qing. She also stated that the Luo Family upholds promises and repays kindness. She silently returned the cultivation that belonged to Xian Qing to him. However, after losing the cultivation, she also fainted onto Xian Qing. Yue Qi was holding the seriously injured Jinzhao, sleeping by the roadside.

Bian Luohuan and others arrived and quickly helped diagnose and treat him. Afterward, Ming Xiu and Gu Hanjiang also rushed to the location. Only then did Bian Luohuan and the others leave in a hurry. After Xian Qing woke up, he discovered that Luo Zhaoyan had returned all the cultivation he had given her.

Maiming told Zhaoyan that the Central Martial Alliance had annihilated the Qiyuan Sect's Jiangning stronghold. After Zhaoyan learned of this, she said she would go to investigate. Gu Hanjiang gave Xian Qing the medicine he had found to strengthen his foundation and consolidate his vital energy. He also told Xian Qing that he had performed a divination for him, and the reading showed that Xian Qing would encounter a love trial. Xian Qing believed that in the myriad forms of life, whether it was a trial or fate was uncertain, and in his thousands of years before, he had never met a woman like Luo Zhaoyan.
