Luo Ning hated Luo Maiming because her father died tragically in the Luo Family, and filled with resentment, she wanted to kill Luo Maiming to avenge her father. Luo Maiming collapsed into Zhaoyan's arms. Luo Ning even thought Luo Zhaoyan was an accomplice in killing her father and wanted to attack and kill Zhaoyan again. Xian Qing stepped forward to protect Luo Zhaoyan. During this interval, Luo Zhaoyan took the heavily injured Luo Maiming back to a room.

Luo Zhaoyan always regarded Luo Maiming as her only family; she did not want to see Maiming die. Luo Maiming handed the Hot Sea Key Ring to Zhaoyan. He considered himself already in boundless hell, but wished Zhaoyan a life of peace and joy. Luo Maiming died in Zhaoyan's arms, and Luo Zhaoyan wept heartbrokenly.

Before he died, Luo Maiming had given two letters to Cang Feng, letters for Ming Xiu and Ju Shifang respectively, and instructed Cang Feng to give them to the two when the time was right. Luo Zhaoyan took Xian Qing to Luo Maiming's secret room. In the secret room, Zhaoyan saw the paintings she had once given to Maiming. Seeing that Maiming had kept all her paintings carefully, Zhaoyan's heart ached even more.

Luo Zhaoyan knew that Maiming was anxious to undo the Hot Sea Blood Bound actually for her sake, because Luo Maiming could live on by borrowing life, while she only had one life. Although Maiming killed so many innocent people, she was the only one in the world who had no right to condemn him. Luo Zhaoyan didn't know what to do in the future.

She asked everyone that if they had any grievances, they could seek her out, but not harm others.

Luo Zhaoyan and Xian Qing met with Yue Jinzhao at the inn. In the inn, they heard that someone else had turned into a stone person here, guessing that this matter was related to the Hengdao Sect. Yue Jinzhao planned to send a message to Zuo Guanren, asking the Zhengwu Alliance to help protect the people of Yinghui Fortress. Yue Jinzhao unexpectedly received a letter.

Besides Yue Qi's jade pendant, the letter also contained a note asking him to go to Suohe Mountain. Yue Jinzhao used the Resonance technique again and successfully found Yue Qi's location. The group met up with Ju Shifang and Ming Xiu and traveled together to Suohe Mountain.
