> Sweet Dreams Recap

Bo Hai confided in Chen Mo about his recurring nightmare, explaining that since DREAM began targeting his company, he had been haunted by a dream of a dragon. This persisted until a certain woman appeared in his dream, helping him fight the dragon, which in turn gave him the courage to defeat DREAM in reality.

Chen Mo teased him about this mysterious figure, wondering if it was a man or a woman, and playfully suggested Bo Hai might even be interested in him given his lack of romantic experience. Meanwhile, Wen Guangqi, conspiring with William from DREAM, affirmed that their cancellation of the acquisition plan was a mere tactic and that "Plan B" against FlowerPlus was in motion.

Wen Guangqi reiterated his ambition to secure 20% of FlowerPlus's stock and become its chairman, seeing the company itself as the ultimate reward. Back at the office, Chen Mo gossiped with Bo Hai about Ling Lingqi, revealing she had been a persistent applicant for three years and was his devoted fan, but Bo Hai remained unfazed. Soon after, Zhou Xinyan brought rare medicinal herbs for Bo Hai, concerned about his recent stress, and offered to cook them for him.

Bo Hai, uncomfortable, quickly excused himself by claiming a prior engagement, much to Chen Mo's annoyance, who had hoped to benefit from the herbs himself. Ling Lingqi’s heart pounded as Bo Hai emerged from the elevator and walked towards her. She answered his questions distractedly, confirming she was from the Sales Department and had come to see him. Bo Hai promptly accused her of neglecting her duties and declared her fired.

Just then, Mo Nan, who had been on the phone with Ling Lingqi and heard Bo Hai's voice, rushed in to de-escalate the situation. He explained that Ling Lingqi was helping him with advertising research and had merely gotten lost after using the restroom. Bo Hai, noticing Ling Lingqi’s intense stare, instructed them both to clean the storeroom after work. During their storeroom duty, Ling Lingqi accidentally injured her hand.

Mo Nan carefully bandaged it for her, and a deeply moved Ling Lingqi declared him her "bestie" from that moment on. Pleased, Mo Nan volunteered to finish the cleaning alone. That evening, Ling Lingqi, Lu Baoni, and Mo Nan gathered for dinner. Lu Baoni, worried about Ling Lingqi’s encounter with Bo Hai, warned her that colleagues viewed him as a "demon"—stubborn, picky, and merciless—nicknaming him "Chomper," the "nightmare for all girls."

Ling Lingqi initially dismissed these claims as sour grapes from punished employees, but Lu Baoni insisted that Ling Lingqi didn't truly know him. Back home, Ling Lingqi wrestled with these conflicting images of Bo Hai. After witnessing her parents argue and realizing from her father's explanation that people can act unusually when in a bad mood, she concluded Bo Hai's harshness must have been due to stress. Reassured, she clung to the image of her sweet dream prince.

Meanwhile, Lu Baoni was confronted by her ex-boyfriend, who was trying to win her back. To get rid of him, she claimed to have a new boyfriend and made an emergency call to Mo Nan. Mo Nan, playing the part of a successful investment banker with a borrowed suit and a high-quality fake watch, arrived and convincingly portrayed her new partner, successfully warding off her persistent ex.

The next day, Ling Lingqi's branch manager announced an upcoming charity sale, highlighting that Bo Hai had personally designed a special bouquet for the event. Ling Lingqi excitedly asked if "Chomper"—quickly correcting herself to "Mr. Bo"—would attend, to which the manager confirmed. Later, Ling Lingqi discovered Qian, a colleague, in tears because the cattleya orchids, vital for Bo Hai’s "Embrace of Love" bouquet, had withered.

With the event hours away, Ling Lingqi suggested replacing them with similar-looking flowers, and a grateful Qian accepted her help. At the charity sale, Ling Lingqi watched warmly as Bo Hai and the children from City Children’s Home sang "My Thankful Heart." However, when Ling Lingqi presented the "Embrace of Love" bouquet to Bo Hai, he immediately noticed the orchid substitution. Qian stepped forward and confessed her unauthorized decision to replace the withered flowers.

Despite her apologies, Bo Hai sternly fired her. Ling Lingqi confronted Bo Hai, accusing him of being unfair. His cold response shattered her illusions, confirming Lu Baoni's warnings. She tearfully accused him of being nothing like the prince in her dreams, while Bo Hai, embodying the "Chomper," retorted with cutting words that chilled her to the bone. After seeing Qian off with Mo Nan, Ling Lingqi grappled with her shattered perception of Bo Hai.

Later, Mo Nan and Lu Baoni bluntly advised Ling Lingqi to let go of her unrealistic dreams about him. That night, Ling Lingqi ended her obsession: she tore down Bo Hai's poster, cried, and packed away all his memorabilia, declaring herself no longer a fan. She also removed her Good Dream bracelet, accepting that her love was for a fantasy, not the real person. The following day, Lu Baoni found herself surrounded by male colleagues eager to pursue her.

Mo Nan arrived with flowers to help her manage the attention, and Lu Baoni lightheartedly asked him to continue being her "shield." As Ling Lingqi listened to her friends’ romantic tales, she compulsively ate a large amount of crayfish. Later, at work, a disillusioned Ling Lingqi impulsively interrupted a client consultation about a secret crush, questioning the client's understanding of her crush and costing her manager the sale.

Feeling her dreams had shattered, Ling Lingqi considered resigning, but her mother's expectations made her reconsider. Lu Baoni suggested she redirect her attention, so Ling Lingqi agreed to a blind date arranged by her mother, hoping a new relationship would help her heal.
