Ling Lingqi left her home, and her parents discussed what they perceived as her uncontrollable obsession with Bo Hai. They believed that if she failed the FlowerPlus recruitment for the third time, it might be a blessing, as it would force her to find a more suitable job. They even suggested she approach a former classmate, nicknamed Four Eyes, who ran a veterinary hospital, hoping she could secure a position there.

Ling Lingqi arrived at the FlowerPlus exam site for her third attempt. She was mistakenly directed to a meeting room, where she encountered a young man whom she mistook for an examiner. She introduced herself, explaining her long-held dream of becoming an excellent florist, detailing her journey from drawing at age four to her four-year passion for floriculture.

The young man interrupted her, remarking that her self-praise was unsubstantiated, and challenged her to create a floral arrangement on the theme of "adorable" using the flowers on the table. Ling Lingqi enthusiastically put on a flower crown and began creating her "adorable" arrangement. Moments later, her best friend, Lu Baoni, burst in, revealing that the "examiner" was actually Mo Nan, a fellow candidate. Ling Lingqi was mortified by the embarrassing misunderstanding.

That night, the dream bracelets once again connected Ling Lingqi and Bo Hai. In Bo Hai's dream, his eyes, which had been gray, regained their normal color upon seeing Ling Lingqi, who appeared even more adorable than before and relentlessly pursued him. When the giant dragon reappeared in the grassy dreamscape, Ling Lingqi, aware she was dreaming, showed no fear. She boldly embraced Bo Hai, playfully urging him to hug her tighter.

As fire surrounded them, Ling Lingqi instinctively stretched out her hand, causing a powerful downpour that drove the dragon away. Bo Hai and Ling Lingqi then joyfully embraced. In the dream, Bo Hai introduced himself as Jack, and Ling Lingqi, delighted, spontaneously declared herself "Queen Mary," immediately feeling that their names perfectly matched.

Bo Hai, even in his dream state, displayed his exceptional floristry skills, explaining to Ling Lingqi that "each plant has its own life track," and that by understanding its unique features, one could discover its inherent charm. He then presented her with a bouquet artfully incorporating fruits and vegetables, calling it "practical." The alarm clock jolted Bo Hai awake, pulling him back to reality, his eyes gradually shifting from their gray hue.

At the official FlowerPlus exam, Chen Mo and Zhou Xinyan noticed Ling Lingqi again. Zhou Xinyan, in particular, dismissed Ling Lingqi as an "ill-intentioned" fangirl who persistently applied year after year, arguing that her "evil intentions" would prevent her from succeeding, despite her actual skill. The exam theme was "Monet’s Inspiration." When it came to Ling Lingqi's turn, Zhou Xinyan, without a second glance at her work, immediately disqualified her.

When the results were posted, Ling Lingqi was heartbroken to see her name absent from the list of successful candidates. Zhou Xinyan approached her and sarcastically told her not to waste her time applying again next year. In her despair, Ling Lingqi unknowingly brushed past Bo Hai. Shortly after, FlowerPlus announced a temporary recruitment for two in-store salespersons, offering a rare opportunity for promotion to a florist position. This news reinvigorated Ling Lingqi, and she eagerly applied.

The sales challenge required candidates to sell the specially designed "Double Ninth Festival" bouquets. Initially, few people stopped at her stand. However, recalling Bo Hai's words from her dream about finding the unique charm in each plant, and inspired by an elderly woman who preferred practical gifts like fruits and vegetables over flowers, Ling Lingqi ingeniously modified the bouquets by adding fruits and vegetables. This creative alteration resonated with customers, and she successfully sold her bouquets.

However, the shop manager was furious that Ling Lingqi had dared to alter a designer's work, declaring that a salesperson had no right to change a design and that Ling Lingqi was disqualified for breaking the rules. The interviewer, Luo Xiannian, called Bo Hai for his opinion on the matter. Bo Hai, upon hearing the details, found the innovation quite "interesting."

He asserted that poorly selling flowers should indeed be modified, and praised the interviewee's quick thinking and flexible creativity as more meaningful than adhering rigidly to authority. Based on Bo Hai's approval, Ling Lingqi and another candidate, Wu Qing, were hired as salespersons. Ling Lingqi celebrated her new job with her parents and Lu Baoni.

Her father jokingly complained about the expensive Moutai he had prepared to bribe his former classmate for a job for Ling Lingqi, now that she had found one on her own. Lu Baoni, reassuring Ling Lingqi, promised to help her transfer to a florist position through the HR department in the future. Later that night, back in her room, Ling Lingqi began to feel that her bracelet was somehow peculiar.

She realized that she had been admitted to FlowerPlus based on her vegetable bouquet, an idea sparked by her dream. Curious, she took off the bracelet before going to sleep, resulting in a dreamless night. Meanwhile, because Ling Lingqi had removed her bracelet, Bo Hai found himself unable to dream and subsequently suffered from insomnia.

He decided to go to the company to work overtime, unaware that he had grown somewhat dependent on the bracelet, or more accurately, on the presence of Ling Lingqi in his dreams. On her first day at the flower shop, Ling Lingqi was met with disdain from the shop manager, who, still upset about her design being altered, assigned Ling Lingqi menial tasks like cleaning all corners of the shop and plucking thorns by hand in the storehouse.

Ling Lingqi was disappointed to learn from a colleague that Bo Hai, as the company president, resided at headquarters and never visited the small shop. Later that day, Ling Lingqi received a phone call from the Good Dream Technology company, informing her that the bracelet had a serious defect that caused users to enter other people's dreams.

Ling Lingqi, however, vehemently denied that her bracelet had any problem, viewing it instead as the perfect opportunity to get closer to Bo Hai. At the FlowerPlus headquarters, during an onboarding meeting, Lu Baoni was unknowingly mocked by colleagues because the zipper on her dress was unzipped, but no one dared to tell her directly. After the meeting, Mo Nan approached Lu Baoni to inform her privately.

However, Lu Baoni, with excessive self-confidence, mistook his concern for admiration, grandiosely boasting about her long history of attracting and "hurting" "ignorant boys," and warning him not to act indecently towards her. Mo Nan finally cut her off and blurted out that her dress zipper was down and everyone had seen it. Later that night, Ling Lingqi happily put on her bracelet and drifted off to sleep. Bo Hai, exhausted from working overtime, fell asleep at his desk.

As the dream unfolded, the giant dragon reappeared, putting Bo Hai in danger. He instinctively called out "Queen Mary!" Ling Lingqi immediately rushed to save him, but her strength was insufficient, and she was struck down. Weakly, Ling Lingqi told Bo Hai that the only way to save her was for him to kiss her. Without hesitation, Bo Hai leaned in and kissed her. As their lips met, the scene transformed into a romantic castle, with embracing lovers silhouetted against the night sky, and dreams, one by one, floated gracefully through the open skylight.
