Shen Hongyuan's actions were all known by the old man, and the old man quickly called Shen Hongyuan to question him. Shen Hongyuan quickly denied everything, stating that it was all a misunderstanding. However, the old man knew the truth but didn't bother to listen to Shen Hongyuan's explanations. He hung up the phone directly. On Shen Hongyuan's end, he heard Liu Shian making a scene in the hall, which made him even angrier. He ordered everyone to leave! Unexpectedly, as Shen Hongyuan turned around, he saw Shen Chen. Shen Chen was about to leave but was stopped by Shen Hongyuan.

Tian Tian changed Shen Mi's bandage, and the two of them talked about Shen Chen. Tian Tian expressed her concerns about the relationship between Shen Chen and Shen Mi, but Shen Mi assured her that he was fine, though he mentioned that Shen Hongyuan's side was more complicated.

Shen Chen stated that these were not the things he wanted, and the things he truly liked were continuously denied by his father, Shen Hongyuan!

Han Mengnan and Gu Mingze met, and Han Mengnan seemed to be preoccupied, pondering something. She uttered many inexplicable words, and Gu Mingze noticed that her mood was off. However, Han Mengnan remained silent. Later, Gu Mingze took Han Mengnan back to their former school. He mentioned that he rarely visited the place after graduating. They went to the sports equipment room, and Gu Mingze shared the reason behind his claustrophobia. It turned out that he was locked in this equipment room by classmates when he was young, and this trauma gave him claustrophobia. Gu Mingze deeply cared for Han Mengnan and faced his fear for her. Then, he revealed his true feelings, expressing his desire to leave, mentioning that he had already booked his plane ticket. He hoped to be with Han Mengnan continuously. They locked eyes, and Han Mengnan didn't say anything, but it seemed like she said everything.

The old man asked Shen Mi and Tian Tian to come home. At the doorstep, they didn't understand the old man's intention. Inside the house, the old man remained silent, and Han Shu quickly explained that the old man had watched the Pet Medical Competition. When they heard this, they immediately started apologizing. The old man revealed that he had already seen it and he wasn't an old-fashioned person. He didn't understand the matters of young people, but he respected them. He said that as long as the two of them were happy together, it was fine. Then, the old man urged Shen Mi to return to Green River and resume his position as the CEO. Shen Mi reminded him that the one-year agreement hadn't expired yet. At first, the old man said the bet was just to silence Shen Hongyuan, but now that it had been won fairly, there was no need for an explanation. However, Shen Mi couldn't help but look at Tian Tian, and the old man immediately understood Shen Mi's intention. He changed his words and said that if there were matters in Green River, Shen Mi should return as soon as possible. Shen Mi happily agreed. The old man added that there was another important matter – the blind athlete that Green River had been sponsoring was about to compete abroad. He hoped that Shen Mi could visit and support him, to which Shen Mi agreed. As they left the house, they encountered Shen Mi's mother, who gave Tian Tian a bouquet of baby's breath flowers. However, Tian Tian seemed unhappy. Shen Mi didn't know what was going on, but later, he found out that baby's breath flowers symbolized a supporting role. When Tian Tian visited Shen Mi's home again, she saw the house filled with baby's breath flowers. Shen Mi gave the flowers a new meaning, making Tian Tian very happy, and the two of them embraced sweetly.

When Shen Mi and Tian Tian came over, they saw the athletes and guide dogs in training. As they were about to leave, they noticed that the champion guide dog was vomiting. After understanding the champion's abnormal condition, they took the dog to Tian Lin for an examination. The results showed a possibility of lymphoma, but the champion dog had been enduring it in order not to worry its owner. In the end, they had to wait for biopsy results, and it wasn't looking good. Even Gu Mingze made the diagnosis, and the chances of a full recovery seemed slim!
