Tian Tian comforted Fei Fei, saying that with the arrival of the baby, Fei Fei wouldn't feel lonely anymore. However, Fei Fei didn't see it that way. He expressed that today they're losing Little Blue, and next time, it might be him. Shen Mi stated that no parents would abandon their own child. Fei Fei sarcastically questioned if Shen Mi had children, and Shen Mi was momentarily speechless. Tian Tian seized the opportunity, saying that the baby kicked her. Shen Mi, catching the hint, immediately played along with Tian Tian. They pretended to be a couple, bantering back and forth, with Tian Tian even calling Shen Mi "husband." Fei Fei was half-convinced, and just then, the doorbell rang. Tian Tian asked her "husband" to check if it was a delivery.

Shen Mi looked through the peephole and was surprised to see it was Tian Peilan. As soon as Tian Peilan entered, she acted eccentrically, not revealing the purpose of her visit. Seeing the little boy there, she immediately inquired about the reason. Tian Tian explained the situation, and Tian Peilan was astounded by the key point: Tian Tian calling Shen Mi her husband. Tian Tian and Shen Mi told Fei Fei to go to sleep quickly. Fei Fei, being considerate, suggested sleeping in the living room not to disturb the "couple." He even said they should sleep together. Shen Mi and Tian Tian felt visibly awkward but had to maintain the charade. So, they prepared to go back to the room together. At this moment, Fei Fei requested that they wait until he fell asleep before leaving. Shen Mi teased him for being afraid of the dark, but Fei Fei explained that he wasn't afraid; it's just uncomfortable to stay in a stranger's house. Shen Mi decided to tell a story to help him sleep. Despite initial reluctance, Fei Fei cooperated and listened. After a while, both Tian Tian and Fei Fei fell asleep on Shen Mi's shoulder. Shen Mi gently woke up Tian Tian, and they went back to the bedroom together. Shen Mi took the floor, and Tian Tian slept on the bed. However, both were nervous. After some time, they realized that neither had fallen asleep. Suddenly, Tian Tian got up and thanked Shen Mi, expressing gratitude for everything he did for Tianlin. Shen Mi comforted and encouraged her.

The next day, Tian Tian and Shen Mi contacted Fei Fei's parents to pick him up from Tianlin. The misunderstanding was finally cleared up, and Fei Fei's parents explained that they didn't want to abandon him. They loved him very much. Additionally, Tian Tian had conducted a comprehensive examination for Little Blue, and it was in good health. The family reconciled, happily returning home. However, the situation took an unexpected turn for Tian Tian. Tian Peilan spread the news about Tian Tian's pregnancy to everyone, and Shen Chen exploded. Importantly, Tian Peilan even told Tian Tian's parents, leading Tian Tian's mom to insist that Tian Tian must bring Shen Mi home!

Shen Mi took the initiative and accepted the responsibility, acknowledging his fault. Upon returning home, he dressed meticulously, bought gifts, and practiced how to communicate with Tian Tian's parents. Tian Tian, seeing Shen Mi so nervous, commented that she had never seen General Shen so tense. Shen Mi, trying to appear calm, went inside and found out that Shen Chen was there too!
