Deliveryman Zhao Hao sat in the park holding a stray cat named Xiaojv. Zhao Hao introduced a service where he drew portraits for people and Xiaojv. Despite Xiaojv eating Chen Yifan's takeout, Zhao Hao was fined ¥200. Regardless, Zhao Hao willingly shared his dinner with Xiaojv. Carlo, noticing this, ran over, catching the attention of Shen Mi and Tian Tian. Shen Mi noticed Zhao Hao drawing portraits and suggested having portraits drawn for themselves. Tian Tian hesitated but agreed. Zhao Hao, aspiring to study fine arts, turned to delivery due to not passing exams.

While sitting in the park, Xiaojv suddenly ran off, prompting Carlo to chase after it. The others followed and discovered that Xiaojv belonged to Zhao Hao. Xiaojv seemed to want to show them something, leading them to a run-down building. Inside, they found a base for stray cats, but the living conditions were poor. Tian Tian suggested sending occasional food, as there was no space in Tian Lin for them to stay. Inside, they noticed a pregnant cat whose water had broken.

The three rushed the cat back to Tian Lin, where it was in critical condition, requiring an emergency cesarean section. Tian Tian contacted Chen Yifan for help. Chen Yifan, annoyed but concerned, performed the surgery. Afterward, feeling unwell, Chen Yifan rested while Zhao Hao, who had left to return a car, brought back a meal. Chen Yifan, embarrassed, left to rest without eating.

The next day, the cat at Tian Lin was doing well. Shen Mi asked about Tian Tian's response to Shen Chen's proposal. Tian Tian rejected him, stating a preference for someone more stable. Chen Yifan, having rested at Tian Lin but still feeling unwell, tried to get comfort from Tian Peilan, leading to a humorous misunderstanding. Shen Mi and Tian Tian watched with amusement.

Shen Mi and Tian Tian worked in the office, and Tian Tian hinted at wanting the newly opened mango smoothie from the mall. She also hinted at the incident when Shen Chen bought her food during Shen Mi's party. Unable to resist, Shen Mi immediately went to queue for the smoothie. Tian Tian then instructed Tian Yuxian and Shen Chen to retrieve the stray cats. When Shen Mi returned, she remarked on his effective distraction. However, Tian Lin couldn't afford the expenses, so Tian Tian decided to send the cats to a nearby cat cafe, suggested by Shen Chen. They went to inspect, and Tian Tian and Tian Yuxian were impressed and signed a contract, despite Shen Mi's objections.

Tian Lin couldn't find Wen Jing, and Shen Mi revealed that he sent her to investigate the cat cafe. The cafe owner seemingly drugged the cats to make them hyperactive. To rescue the cats, Tian Tian went to the cafe after the owner left. Shen Mi joined her, concerned about her safety. He tried to pull her away, thinking it was a crime to infiltrate the cafe. Tian Tian explained she was collecting evidence, but Shen Mi insisted they leave.
