The manager of Xi Chong went to report the turnover situation to Shen Hongyuan. Shen Hongyuan expressed disinterest in the matter, stating that as long as they could suppress Tianlin and prevent it from obtaining the qualifications for the trial hospital, he would become the chairman. After all the reports were made, Lao Zhao still hesitated to leave. It turned out there were some things that had to be discussed with Shen Hongyuan. Liu Shian saw Shen Chen and Tianlin's people mingling, and Lao Zhao thought it was necessary to inform Shen Hongyuan. Shen Hongyuan, upon hearing this, became very angry.

Shen Mi held a meeting with Tianlin's team to discuss recent issues. However, everyone remained silent. On the other hand, Shen Hongyuan directly called back Shen Chen, who was unaware of what had happened and appeared nonchalant. Shen Hongyuan immediately pointed out the problem and questioned why Shen Chen had done it. Shen Chen, without panicking, explained that he had gone undercover to stir things up, hoping that Tianlin would collapse soon. He wanted to ease the burden for his father. Shen Chen's sincerity made Shen Hongyuan hesitate. He expressed willingness to believe his son once again and instructed Shen Chen to promptly report any movements from Tianlin.

In a hospital, an elderly man lay on a hospital bed. As soon as his wife left, he asked the doctor when the latest surgery could be performed. Usually, patients ask if surgery can be moved up, so the doctor suspected he had misheard. The doctor assured him that the surgery would be arranged as soon as possible. In Tianlin's team, everyone was bored and desperate for customers. Tian Peilan frequently went undercover at Xi Chong and even obtained a membership card. Xi Chong's grooming staff had recognized her as part of Tianlin's team but still warmly received her, speaking highly of Tian Peilan. Tian Peilan was charmed. Meanwhile, an elderly woman, having just left the hospital, brought a dog to Tianlin. As soon as she entered, she requested euthanasia for the dog in her arms. She had visited Xi Chong but found their price too high, so she came to Tianlin. Chen Yifan immediately brought Tian Tian over, and after a basic examination, Tian Tian declared that the dog, Da Fu, was healthy and shouldn't be euthanized. The reason for Da Fu's strange behavior was likely a superstition. The woman insisted but left satisfied when Tian Tian refused to comply. However, Tian Peilan was agitated and argued that they shouldn't have done this. Tian Tian reassured her after bringing Da Fu outside.

Later, Tian Peilan went to Xi Chong to request a refund for the membership card. She was intercepted by the staff who had previously done the grooming. Tian Peilan explained the situation with Da Fu, and the staff agreed with her. Surprisingly, Xi Chong later found Tianlin and accused them of deceiving customers. Shen Mi then brought Da Fu out, and the group split into two teams. Shen Mi and Tian Tian went to find the truth, while the others went to rescue Da Fu. At the hospital, Shen Chen also appeared, posing as a doctor and leading the woman away. Tian Tian and Shen Mi entered the hospital room, where the elderly man confessed that he had orchestrated everything himself!
