Han Mengnan arrived at Tianlin Hospital and saw the photos taken by Tian Tian and others as soon as she entered. She was momentarily stunned and then asked Wen Jing about Shen Mi's whereabouts. Wen Jing explained that Shen Mi had gone out on business, so Han Mengnan had no choice but to leave, though it seemed like she had something on her mind.

Meanwhile, Han's father was on the phone, trying to prevent someone from revealing his illness. At that moment, Han Mengnan returned home and dropped the paternity test report in front of her father. She didn't notice her father's strange behavior and directly questioned him about who Shen Mi was. Han's father, feeling helpless, recalled the events from years ago. He explained that when he had found Shen Mi's whereabouts, Shen Mi and Gao Zhuo had already gone out to sea. When Han's father arrived, both had met with an accident.
