Ru Jun used a Bodhi fruit to help Chang Yi clear his meridians and regrow his severed tail. His spiritual power was restored to its original state. Ru Ling was unwilling to admit defeat. She took out her last trump card, a golden bell made from the remnant soul of Zhu Yan. Chang Yi and Ji Yunhe joined forces against Ru Ling. The three of them fought fiercely, the battle inseparable.
The sound of the golden bell echoed through the sky. Disciples of the Immortal Master Mansion, Elders and spiritual masters of Thousand Flower Valley heard the call of the bell. They seemed divinely aided, relentlessly pressuring the immortals of North Abyss. Kong Ming loudly warned the North Abyss immortals not to fight unwinnable battles. Ji Chengyu wildly swung his sword and stabbed at Kong Ming. Luo Jinsang bravely shielded Kong Ming, and was pierced through by Ji Chengyu.
Luo Jinsang used her last breath to bid farewell to Kong Ming. Kong Ming tried to use elixirs to help Luo Jinsang recover her spiritual power, but it was in vain. Luo Jinsang passed away in his arms. Kong Ming was heartbroken and wept uncontrollably. Someone seized the opportunity to try and sneak attack Kong Ming. Ji Chengyu, to save Kong Ming, was stabbed through the back by someone.
Ji Chengyu took out that small tiger doll, and then turned into ashes and vanished. Kong Ming's heart ached as if being cut by a knife, knowing that Ji Chengyu was controlled by Ru Ling and could not help himself. Chang Yi and Ji Yunhe worked together and injured Ru Ling. Ji Yunhe completely destroyed Ru Ling's golden bell.
The disciples of the Immortal Master Mansion, Elders and spiritual masters of Thousand Flower Valley were freed from the golden bell's curse. They fell to the ground one after another like empty shells. The North Abyss immortals won without a fight. Qu Xiaoxing woke up Elder Donglian, Si Yu, and the others. Ru Jun took out the glazed heart lamp, intending to attack Ru Ling. Ru Ling summoned Lin Haoqing to deal with him.
Ji Yunhe was worried about Ru Jun's safety and hurried to his aid. Lin Haoqing raised his sword and stabbed at Ru Jun. Ji Yunhe desperately protected Ru Jun and was severely injured by Lin Haoqing. Ji Yunhe reminded Lin Haoqing to wake up, but he was already controlled by Ru Ling's curse. Ji Yunhe fought back with all her might and injured Lin Haoqing with a sword strike.
After regaining consciousness, Lin Haoqing gripped the sword hilt and deeply stabbed himself. Lin Haoqing stated frankly that in this game of chess, he had no control over himself, not even the right to love someone. He only wished to use his last strength to exchange for the freedom of the person he loved, and then he fell off the cliff. Meanwhile, Chang Yi went all out and struck Ru Ling into the demon-expelling formation.
Ru Ling was successfully trapped by the formation. Afterwards, Ru Jun used the heart lamp to completely destroy Ru Ling's physical body. Before she died, Ru Ling declared that though her body died, her spirit would not perish and would turn into wind to kill everyone. She then transformed into wisps of remnant souls that lingered in the air. Ji Yunhe was worried that these remnant souls would continue to harm the world.
She disregarded everything and absorbed all these remnant souls into her body. She went straight to the volcano lava cave, wanting to connect the heart lamp to the fire of heaven and earth to exterminate the demons, hoping to perish together with Ru Ling's remnant souls. Chang Yi arrived in time to stop her. Ji Yunhe's mind was made up. Chang Yi wanted to jump down with Ji Yunhe.
Ji Yunhe asked Chang Yi to stay and seal the volcano, promising that she would find a way out once the demonic energy dissipated. Chang Yi could only agree, but he asked Ji Yunhe for a promise: that they would never leave each other in this life. Chang Yi couldn't help but kiss Ji Yunhe, and once again gave her the merman pearl from his body.
Ji Yunhe promised to be with Chang Yi forever, as one couple for life, and then she jumped into the scorching lava. Chang Yi personally sealed the volcano. Peace returned to the world. The North Abyss immortals cheered together. Kong Ming used all his spiritual power to wake up Luo Jinsang. Chang Yi stood at the summit of the high mountain, overlooking the ice-sealed snowy mountains. Ru Jun followed, speaking kindly to him.
But Chang Yi also understood that no one could stop Ji Yunhe's decision, and her promise would surely be fulfilled. He only asked the Heavenly King to reopen the East Sea and take good care of Thousand Flower Valley. Chang Yi wanted to follow Ji Yunhe's words, no longer be confined to North Abyss, give up his position as Lord, and travel the mortal world. Three hundred years passed in the blink of an eye.
Ru Jun appointed Kong Ming as the Immortal Master of the Immortal Master Mansion. Luo Jinsang excitedly came to report the good news of her pregnancy to Kong Ming. Kong Ming happily hugged her and spun her around. Ru Jun stood under the Bodhi tree, remembering his sister Ru Ling, who was sealed in ice. His heart was filled with emotion. One day, a mortal came to ask Xue Sanyue for directions. This person looked exactly like Li Shu. Xue Sanyue was greatly surprised. It turned out that all this was arranged by Lin Haoqing, who had escaped death.
He found a person in the mortal world who closely resembled Li Shu and arranged for him to be by Xue Sanyue's side. Seeing their relationship rekindle, he was also happy for them. Si Yu felt heartbroken that Lin Haoqing had lost his legs, but Lin Haoqing was content.
