The Blue Whisper Episode 15 Recap
> The Blue Whisper Recap
Lin Haoqing and Qu Xiaoxing stood on the opposite mountaintop, seeing Ning Qing take Ji Yunhe away from afar. Lin Haoqing secretly swore in his heart to rescue Ji Yunhe. Ji Yunhe was imprisoned in the Congji Jail of Lutai Mountain. She woke up in a daze and heard the guards outside the door assigning tasks.
They were going down the cliff separately to search for Chang Yi's whereabouts and had also sealed off the news of her imprisonment on Lutai Mountain. Only then did Ji Yunhe realize she had been captured. She worried about Chang Yi's safety. After Chang Yi fell from the cliff, he was washed ashore by the current. His attendant, Luo Suo, happened to be sent out to find him and rescued the unconscious Chang Yi onto the shore.
Luo Suo discovered that Chang Yi had not only lost his tail but also his merman pearl, leaving him utterly distraught. Kong Ming from the Immortal Master Mansion came to find Chang Yi. He first helped stop the bleeding from his chest and told Luo Suo to take Chang Yi to a guesthouse in the town to hide.
Seeing that Ji Chengyu had brought disciples from the Immortal Master Mansion to search nearby, Kong Ming quickly went forward to cover Luo Suo and Chang Yi's escape. Ji Chengyu recognized his senior brother Kong Ming and sent everyone else away. Ji Chengyu saw bloodstains on the ground and guessed that he had seen Chang Yi.
Kong Ming admitted that he had let Chang Yi go and advised Ji Chengyu to give up as soon as possible, stating that he would never let anyone from the Immortal Master Mansion find Chang Yi. Ji Chengyu desperately pleaded with Kong Ming not to become an enemy of Immortal Master Ning Qing. Kong Ming did not want to hear him keep rambling and left in a huff without looking back. Ji Chengyu returned to report to Ning Qing.
Ning Qing already knew that he had let Kong Ming go. Ji Chengyu was so scared that he repeatedly admitted his mistake. Ning Qing did not pursue the matter further but reminded Ji Chengyu not to harbor any ill intentions, or he would follow in Kong Ming's footsteps. Ji Yunhe felt the merman pearl's aura within her body was peaceful and knew that Chang Yi was safe, which slightly eased her mind.
Ning Qing brought Ji Chengyu to see Ji Yunhe. Ji Yunhe openly challenged Ning Qing and even clamored for meat. Ning Qing readily agreed. Ji Yunhe pressed Ning Qing hard about his intentions in capturing her. Ning Qing knew she had let Chang Yi go and was very curious about her, wanting to see what other tricks she might have.
Ji Yunhe admitted it without hesitation, stating that she knew in advance there was a river below the cliff, which was why she deliberately pushed Chang Yi down to release him. Ning Qing discovered that Ji Yunhe's body contained spiritual power from both Celestial Immortals and Earth Immortals, which made him even more curious about her. Before leaving, he also instructed Ji Chengyu to take good care of Ji Yunhe.
Ji Yunhe was well aware that she did not have much time left and wanted to enjoy her last moments. Ji Chengyu advised her not to provoke Ning Qing, so she would not be in mortal danger. Ji Yunhe had unspeakable bitterness in her heart. Ru Ling sent people everywhere to search for Chang Yi's whereabouts, but they all returned empty-handed. She was so furious that she raged and drove away Envoy Zhang and all the guards.
Heavenly King Ru Jun came to see his sister Ru Ling. He personally fed her the healing soup and advised her not to be impatient or fixated on capturing the merman. Ru Ling vented all her anger on him and shattered the medicine bowl in a fit of pique. Ning Qing hurried over upon hearing the news. Ru Ling instantly smiled broadly. Ning Qing personally played the zither to appease her.
Ru Ling was enchanted by the music, and the anger in her heart immediately vanished like smoke. Ru Jun wanted to take Ru Ling back to the Heavenly Court and find her a renowned master. Ning Qing was greatly angered and wanted to attack the Heavenly King. Fortunately, Master Lei Ze and Master Fei Lian arrived in time. Ning Qing used Ru Ling's unhealed injuries as an excuse for her to remain in the Immortal Master Mansion.
The Heavenly King did not want to entangle with him further and had no choice but to leave with Lei Ze and Fei Lian first. The Heavenly King became angrier the more he thought about it. He went under the Bodhi tree, wanting to retrieve the magical artifact left by his father to suppress Ning Qing and bring Ru Ling back to the Heavenly Court, but the artifact did not recognize him at all.
Master He Xu was napping behind the tree. He stretched, knocking over the chessboard in front of him. The pieces scattered among the human realm. Lei Ze and Fei Lian were greatly displeased; the pieces would turn into meteor showers, causing countless mortals to make wishes, keeping the two of them extremely busy. The Heavenly King wanted to play a game of chess with Master He Xu, hoping to find his own opportunity through it. Master He Xu readily agreed.
Kong Ming personally treated Chang Yi's injuries. Chang Yi gradually regained consciousness. Luo Suo wanted to quickly take him back to the East Sea to see the Merman King. Seeing the conch shell on the table, Chang Yi couldn't help but recall Ji Yunhe's heartlessness. He struggled to get up and returned to the wishing tree from earlier, taking down the wish strips from the tree and destroying them.
Kong Ming guessed that Chang Yi was troubled by love and took the opportunity to suggest joining forces with him against the Immortal Master Mansion. Chang Yi flatly refused. Kong Ming cursed him as a weakling hurt by love. Ji Yunhe dreamed that Chang Yi returned to the East Sea and had grown his merman tail back. Chang Yi hated her to the core.
Ji Yunhe was heartbroken, yet also relieved that Chang Yi had finally returned to where he belonged. The Heavenly King expressed his worries to Master He Xu. Back then, his father fought on the battlefield to protect the four seas and eight lands, not hesitating to return to primordial chaos when suppressing the Zhu Yan rebel army. Immortal Master Ning Qing harbored ambitions and had tricked his sister Ru Ling to the Immortal Master Mansion.
The Heavenly King wanted to bring his sister back, but his spiritual power was limited, and he was no match for Ning Qing. Master He Xu advised him not to worry, stating that the Heavenly King had an opportunity in the human realm, and when the time of destined gathering came, his wish would be fulfilled. The Heavenly King wanted to know when this destined gathering would arrive, but Master He Xu remained silent.
It turned out that while Master He Xu accompanied the Heavenly King on a trip to the human realm, they encountered Kong Ming who had left the Immortal Master Mansion. The Heavenly King encouraged Kong Ming to cheer up, and they thus formed a bond. Master He Xu had originally given Kong Ming a golden lotus, telling him to find the person of destiny.
Kong Ming had always believed that Chang Yi was his destined person, which was why he chose to stay by his side and protect him. Luo Jinsang wanted to go to the Immortal Master Mansion to rescue Ji Yunhe, but Qu Xiaoxing desperately tried to stop her. Lin Haoqing single-handedly broke into the Immortal Master Mansion, wanting to rescue Ji Yunhe. Ji Yunhe flatly refused, criticizing him for not having sent Chang Yi into the tiger's den.
Lin Haoqing did not want to explain too much and just wanted to get her out first. Ji Yunhe asked him to take good care of Luo Jinsang. Ning Qing suddenly arrived at the dungeon and knocked Lin Haoqing to the ground without a word. Lin Haoqing lied that he had just come to see Ji Yunhe and swore loyalty to Ning Qing. Ning Qing did not believe him at all, punished him, and forcefully drove him away. Ji Yunhe knew that the Immortal Master Mansion was heavily guarded and guessed that Ning Qing had deliberately allowed Lin Haoqing to enter. Ning Qing admitted this without denying it.
