Bai Li Tu Su’s body began to emit malevolent energy when he drew too close to the Sword of Burning Solitude on Burning Solitude Cliff. Seeing this, Xiangling grew concerned and insisted on returning to Tianyong City with Qingxue to seek help from the Reverend masters. At the cliff, Senior Brother and Second Senior Brother continuously controlled Tusu with their energy, while Ouyang Shaogong worked to purify his will, as they all feared Tusu might cause a disturbance.

Qingxue, worried for Tusu, reluctantly agreed to return to Tianyong City with Xiangling for the greater good. As they departed, Xiangling used a thousand-mile voice transmission to call upon her father, the Nine-Tailed Celestial Fox King of Qing Qiu, to assist Ouyang Shaogong and the others at Burning Solitude Cliff. Xiangling continuously comforted Qingxue during their journey. Upon arriving at Tianyong City, Qingxue and Xiangling informed Reverend Ziyin and Reverend Hansu about the situation.

The two Reverends were unable to personally seal the Burning Solitude energy within Tusu, as Reverend Ziyin's hand had been injured by the sword years ago and had not yet healed, and Reverend Hansu was busy monitoring Hong Yu's alchemy to control the sword's fluctuations. The two Reverends expended their lifelong cultivation to enable Hong Yu to refine a Phoenix Elixir and a Phoenix-Dragon Elixir, which were then given to Qingxue and Xiangling respectively.

They were to take these elixirs to Burning Solitude Cliff to reseal the Burning Solitude energy within Tusu. As they prepared to leave quickly after taking the elixirs, Fu Qu wished to join them, but Reverend Hansu forbade it, so Fu Qu reluctantly remained with her father. Qingxue and Xiangling hurried back to Burning Solitude Cliff, where Xiangling saw her father already aiding the others in sealing Tusu.

The two girls then combined the elixirs with their energy to help complete the seal. Suddenly, a Guhuo Bird appeared, accompanied by an evil phoenix, which had been incubating the offspring of two deceased ancient birds from years past. The Nine-Tailed Celestial Fox King shielded them with his tail, and Xiangling emulated her father, using her sacred pearl, cultivated over a thousand years, to form a protective barrier.

Tusu's star spirit, the Chongming bird, then came to their aid, emitting sunlight that struck down the Guhuo Bird. However, the evil phoenix merely transformed into an egg, not dying. Though everyone wished to destroy the egg, the Chongming bird shook its head, signaling its disagreement. It then transferred all the energy from the Sword of Burning Solitude into the egg, intending to prevent the evil phoenix from awakening and Tusu from harming others.

Senior Brother, Second Senior Brother, Xiangling, and the Chongming bird stood by the phoenix egg, while the others worked to transfer all the Burning Solitude energy into it, collectively sealing it. Tusu gradually regained his will and assisted in the sealing process, which was finally completed after eighty-one days. On the eighty-second day, the Burning Solitude Cliff was completely destroyed.

Senior Brother, Second Senior Brother, Ouyang Shaogong, and Qingxue returned to Tianyong City, while Xiangling and her father went back to Qing Qiu. Meanwhile, in Qinchuan, Constable Wu harbored Tusu in his home, assuring him of safety and vouching for his character based on the Fang family's Second Mistress. Tusu, who confirmed he had come to Qinchuan to find a friend and had nowhere else to go, promised not to misuse his martial arts.

Constable Wu's wife playfully tried to arrange a marriage for Tusu. The local constables discussed a mysterious "rapist" (Cai Hua Zei) who had been active in Qinchuan. One constable suggested the "weird person" taken in by Constable Wu, Tusu, might be the culprit, but Constable Wu quickly dismissed the rumor, saying Tusu was at his house the previous day and telling his men to investigate the actual case.

Tusu offered to help catch the rapist, as Constable Wu had mentioned a reward. He sought information from Bai Xiao Sheng, who initially demanded payment. Tusu proposed that Bai Xiao Sheng would receive the reward offered by Miss Fang upon the rapist's capture, to which Bai Xiao Sheng agreed. Bai Xiao Sheng shared his analysis: the rapist's targets were moving from west to north, focusing on beautiful women from prominent families, with the Fang or Sun families likely next.

At the Fang residence, Fang Lansheng warned his sister, Ruqin, about the rapist, humorously suggesting Tusu might be the culprit. Ruqin defended Tusu, calling him a proper young man, unlike Lansheng. Lansheng, convinced he could catch the rapist, decided to set a trap. Later that night, Tusu appeared in Ruqin’s room, attempting to catch the rapist himself. Lansheng, mistaking Tusu for the rapist, raised the alarm, believing Tusu intended to harm his sister. Tusu fled.

Lansheng, convinced Tusu and the rapist were working together to lure away attention, instructed the guards to protect Ruqin while he pursued Tusu. Tusu then encountered Feng Qingxue, who was bathing in a stream. She explained she had run out of money and needed to clean herself before meeting him. Lansheng arrived, still chasing Tusu, and accused him of molesting Qingxue. Qingxue, however, clarified that Tusu was not a rapist and they were friends.

She revealed she was Tusu’s junior apprentice from Tianyong City, sent by Senior Brother Ling Yue to stay with him. Ruqin, now present, confirmed that Tusu was assisting Constable Wu in the investigation. She also reported that the rapist's appearance seemed indistinct, both handsome and ugly, possibly due to a drug. Qingxue suggested the rapist might be altering his face.

Constable Wu recommended that Tusu stay at the Fang mansion to protect Ruqin, and Qingxue, admitting she was famished, also volunteered to help, stating that Tusu's business was hers too if food was provided. Ruqin agreed to let both of them stay. Later, Qingxue asked Tusu why he had searched for her, and he asked her the same. Qingxue explained that Brother Ling Yue had instructed her to stay with him.

Qingxue then expressed disappointment, asking Tusu if he only remembered her as 'Han Yunxi' (his former name) and not their deeper connection, but she insisted she would not leave. Tusu, acknowledging her as Feng Qingxue from Youdu, a new student at Tianyong City three years ago, did not respond further. Meanwhile, Lansheng, eager to learn magic, repeatedly pestered Qingxue to teach him, but she humbly declined, claiming limited ability.

Tusu and Qingxue decided to continue their investigation by interviewing the victims directly. Qingxue began calling Tusu "Susu," a name he accepted. They visited Miss Lin, who was still traumatized and tearfully asked them to leave. At another house, Qingxue noticed a strange orchid scent, similar to the previous victim's. She deduced that the orchid contained a drug that caused temporary unconsciousness. Ruqin recalled discarding a similar purple orchid, mistaking it for one of Lansheng's pranks.

They identified the plant as a "Skinny Body Orchid," which was rare in Qinchuan. Ruqin suggested Sun Yue Yuan of the Sun family, a known orchid enthusiast, might have such a plant. They speculated that the rapist might be stealing these orchids from the Sun mansion. Qingxue pointed out that Miss Sun was a beauty, yet had not been harmed, perhaps due to her chronic illness and constant medicinal intake. They decided to visit the Sun mansion.

Lansheng, disguised as a flower seller, claimed his deceased father had promised a rare orchid to Miss Sun. After some initial skepticism, the guards allowed him in, though Tusu had to wait outside. Inside, Lansheng, still disguised, met a frail Miss Sun who was constantly coughing and taking medicine. He correctly identified her "Mu Shuǐ Lan the Skinny Body orchid."

Miss Sun, confined to her home, was unaware of the rapist and expressed a willingness to show them her flower garden. There, they met Hua Lu, the floral servant, whom Miss Sun described as honest despite his appearance. Lansheng noticed a missing pot of Skinny Body Orchid, which Hua Lu explained he had used to make fragrant potpourri for Miss Sun.

Lansheng questioned Hua Lu's origins, and Hua Lu stated he was a wanderer who found refuge with Miss Sun due to his looks. Nanny Suen then took Miss Sun back inside, concerned about her health in the sun. Tusu and Qingxue discussed their findings. While the Sun Mansion had the specific orchids and Hua Lu was suspicious, Tusu hadn't observed anything truly unusual.

Tusu reiterated his theory that Miss Sun's poor health and medication might have protected her from the rapist. They also noted the conflicting descriptions of the rapist's appearance from various victims. Tusu concluded that the rapist would likely return to the Sun Mansion for more orchids. They planned to return the next day, with Tusu going inside, Qingxue guarding outside, and Lansheng protecting Ruqin at the Fang Mansion. Later, Qingxue and Miss Sun conversed.

Miss Sun lamented her confined life and lack of friends, protected by her Nanny due to a fortune teller's prophecy of a disaster at age eighteen. Qingxue offered to bring her friend, a miracle doctor, to help Miss Sun with her illness. Miss Sun then inquired about Tusu, whom she had seen outside, and Qingxue confessed he was her childhood crush.

Miss Sun shared her own story of a boy she liked as a child, who defended her from bullies who called him a "monster" because he used a jade. Qingxue realized Miss Sun was talking about Fang Lansheng and asked if the jade was green and from the south, which Miss Sun confirmed. Despite Lansheng's mischievous nature, Miss Sun defended his kindness. Qingxue encouraged Miss Sun to confess her feelings, stressing that she shouldn't live with regret. Inspired, Miss Sun resolved to tell Lansheng how she felt.
