Mumu is a drama film directed by Sha Mo, written by Fu Dandi, and produced by Chen Guofu, starring Lay Zhang, Li Luo'an, Huang Yao, and Vivienne Tien, with Zhang Ruonan, Yuan Wenkang, Ai Liya, and Wang Xianhe in special appearances.
Based on the short film from the variety show "Action!", the film tells the story of Xiao Ma, a deaf man, and his daughter Mumu, who rely on each other for companionship. As Mumu grows up, she must integrate into the hearing world, threatening to disrupt their inseparable life. At this moment, a criminal gang specializing in exploiting deaf individuals targets Xiao Ma. Driven by his love for his daughter, he is gradually deceived into the abyss of crime.

Synopsis
Deaf Xiao Ma and his daughter Mumu keep each other company. The "little adult" Mumu acts as the family's pillar, bridging communication between her father and the outside world while helping him secure jobs to earn money.
Yet as Mumu grows up, she must integrate into the hearing world, inevitably disrupting their inseparable life.
