He fondly recounted the "eat slipper" incident, where a confident freshman challenged them at a bridge game, vowing to eat his shoes if he lost. They discovered he wore slippers, but F4 did not make him follow through, instead playfully calling him "Eat Slippers."
Ximen emphasized that despite their ups and downs, his three closest friends have always been there for him, their bond deeper than siblings, understanding each other more than themselves, and always guiding each other with light and reason. After the ceremony, female students surrounded F4, eager for autographs and photos, a scene that reminded Shancai of her first encounter with Daoming Si.
Huaze Lei proposed a bachelor party for Daoming Si, to be held the following night as a pre-wedding celebration. He made it clear that Shancai was not invited. After the plans were set, Shancai and Daoming Si left together. Shancai stumbled and broke her shoe, prompting Daoming Si to carry her on his back to a shoe store. He remarked that he would have to take care of her for the rest of his life.
At Shancai's favorite shoe store, which she had frequented since elementary school, Daoming Si insisted on buying her the best pair. Following their shoe shopping, they went to the Daoming residence where Ms. Yu, excited to see Shancai, warmly welcomed her. Ms. Yu took Shancai's measurements for a wedding dress, promising to make her the "brightest focus" of her engagement and wedding.
She expressed her desire for Shancai to quickly join the Daoming family, believing only Shancai could "discipline" Daoming Si, and insisted that Shancai stay the night, much to Shancai's bashful surprise. Daoming Si then whisked Shancai away, joking about their collusion. Later, Daoming Si surprised Shancai in a room adorned with many red roses and twinkling lights, reminiscent of a meteor shower.
He told her the romantic gesture had a special meaning, as she was the one he would exchange all the stars in the sky for. Shancai, deeply touched, called him a "bad guy" for creating such an unforgettable memory. Daoming Si confirmed his lifelong commitment, stating that the only condition for his unwavering devotion was that she remain "tied to him for the rest of her life." They shared a passionate embrace.
Meanwhile, Ximen prepared for his first date with Xiaoyou. He tried to enlist Meizuo and Huaze Lei for a special surprise, but they both claimed to be busy. He then asked Chen Qinghe for help. Xiaoyou brought Ximen a cake as a gift, hoping to share it. Ximen made a passing comment about his ex, Xiaogeng, also liking sweets. Xiaoyou, though momentarily disheartened, asserted that she was happy to be sharing the moment with him now.
She then playfully asked if he had a gift for her, to which he replied he did not, causing her brief disappointment. As they walked through the city streets after dinner, Ximen planned to surprise Xiaoyou with a light display on a building, arranged by Chen Qinghe. However, when he checked his phone and saw no activity, his expression changed, and he excused himself to make a call.
He furiously called Chen Qinghe, chastising him for messing up the complex light pattern instructions for the building and ruining his date. Unexpectedly, the building lit up, displaying a flashing red heart, which Xiaoyou excitedly pointed out, believing it to be a romantic gesture from another man. Ximen was frustrated, but Xiaoyou, delighted, suggested they "share the good luck" and take a photo. When Ximen hesitated, Xiaoyou leaned in and kissed him, which he passionately returned.
At the same time, Chen Qinghe and Li Zhen, captivated by the unexpected light display, also shared a kiss. Shancai and Xiaoyou's "Tea Master Shop" grew in popularity, leading the owner to promote Xiaoyou to manager. To celebrate her first day, Ximen rallied F4 to visit the shop, promising to break sales records. That evening, Xiaoyou treated everyone to special milk teas, challenging them to identify the unique tea leaves.
Huaze Lei correctly identified his drink as Matcha, and Meizuo identified his as Dongding Kiwifruit. Daoming Si, however, struggled to guess, leading Shancai to taste his drink and correctly name it as Momo. The F4 praised Shancai, noting her increasing beauty and her success in taming Daoming Si. Huaze Lei then playfully said he wanted to kiss Shancai before she went abroad and actually kissed her forehead.
A jealous Daoming Si immediately became enraged, threatening to fight Huaze Lei and even kiss Xiaoyou in retaliation, leading to a playful skirmish among the six friends. The next day, Shancai's parents excitedly prepared for Daoming Si and Daoming Feng's official visit to propose. Shancai's mother, emotional about her daughter marrying and potentially moving to London, fretted about missing her.
Shancai reassured her, promising to stay in Shanghai until graduation and even suggesting to Daoming Si that they live with her parents. She confidently stated that Daoming Si was "wrapped around her finger" and would listen to her, even joking about kicking him away if he ever bullied her. However, as noon approached, Daoming Si and his mother had still not arrived. Shancai called Daoming Si, but Daoming Feng answered.
Daoming Feng bluntly revealed that her previous "agreement" to the marriage was a ruse, a tactical compromise because Daoming Si was "in their hands." She claimed she had since convinced Daoming Si to abandon the marriage, and he had decided to return to London with her permanently, instructing Shancai to "give up on Asi." Shancai was devastated. Her parents, furious at the deception and humiliation, prepared to confront Daoming Feng, but Shancai stopped them.
She apologized to her parents for their distress and declared that from that day forward, she would face her relationship with Daoming Si alone, determined not to let her family suffer any further disrespect from Daoming Feng. Meanwhile, Huaze Lei, Meizuo, and Ximen were dressed in silly dog hats for Daoming Si's "goodbye to the single dog party," joking about how Daoming Si was surprisingly the first among them to marry.
Shancai arrived, looking distraught, and informed them that Daoming Si would not be coming, as Daoming Feng had intervened once more. Ximen immediately called Daoming Si, but Ms. Yu answered the phone with an uncharacteristically cold and distant tone, stating that Daoming Si was "busy" with family matters and unable to speak, instructing them not to call again. Daoming Feng was then heard instructing Ms. Yu to deny any knowledge of Daoming Si's whereabouts to anyone who called.
Huaze Lei suspected that Ms. Yu's unusual demeanor and Daoming Feng's actions were a "delaying tactic." To ascertain Daoming Si's situation, the three friends decided to sneak into the Daoming residence through the back door, leaving Shancai behind as it was too risky for her.
