Xiaozizi immediately suspected that Daoming Si's mother was behind it, believing that she was eager to finalize a corporate marriage between the Daoming and He families. Meizuo and Ximen agreed, suggesting that Xiaozizi should go to London to understand the situation and potentially thwart Daoming Feng's plans. Meanwhile, after finishing their meal, Huaze Lei and Shancai continued their walk.
Huaze Lei remarked that the one pound left after paying for their meal was the first money he'd ever earned from his music, and he wanted to commemorate it specially. He then used the pound to buy a single red rose for Shancai, which finally brought a sweet smile to her face. Daoming Feng relentlessly pressured Daoming Si, who was on the verge of a breakdown. At the villa, Shancai was packing her luggage, preparing to leave London. Huaze Lei, reluctant to see her go, suggested she meet Daoming Si one last time, hoping there might still be a chance to reconcile. They resolved to spend the day enjoying themselves in London without any arguments. They spent the day happily exploring London. Daoming Si shed his arrogant demeanor, and Shancai was very understanding. They seemed to forget all their recent unhappiness.
As they stood by the London Eye, delicate snowflakes began to fall, turning the city into a magical, fairytale scene. They shared an umbrella, running through the snowy streets of London. During their outing, Shancai apologized to Daoming Si for losing the bracelet he had given her, explaining it was stolen on her first day in London.

He then took her phone and, referring to himself in the third person as "that guy who has the final say," installed a special gift he had prepared: a "Meteor Garden" app. That evening, Daoming Si brought Shancai to Sister Yue's restaurant for their hotpot meal.
Sister Yue joyfully recognized Shancai, realizing she was the girl who had come looking for her boyfriend – Daoming Si. She recounted Shancai’s previous visit, remembering how tired and helpless Shancai had looked, but also how her eyes had shone with the power of love when she spoke of her boyfriend. Moved, Sister Yue prepared a special, lavish hotpot to celebrate their reunion.
Shancai, to mask her sadness about their impending breakup, focused on enjoying the delicious food, and Daoming Si followed her lead, determined to make their last gathering a happy one. Daoming Si reflected on his past, admitting how much he now cared for Shancai, a stark contrast to his indifferent self before meeting her. Shancai, close to tears, asked him to revert to his old, arrogant, and self-important self.
Daoming Si agreed, and they playfully bickered, but their feigned arguments soon gave way to shared tears. Finally, Daoming Si asked Shancai to make eight-spice hot sauce noodles for him and Sister Yue, as the dish held precious memories of their relationship.
