As soon as Yuan Shuai woke up, he saw the faces of Qiao Na and Su Chang. Too exhausted to deal with Qiao Na's concern, he asked Su Chang to escort her away and inquired about Jiang Jun's whereabouts. To his surprise, Su Chang hadn’t seen Jiang Jun since arriving. Back at Jiang Jun’s place, despite having the "big devil" under her roof, Yuan Shuai’s cooking skills won her over. Their playful bickering lightened the mood. Restless on the couch, Jiang Jun pretended to sleep when she heard Yuan Shuai leave his room. Yuan Shuai, gazing at her peaceful face, couldn’t resist leaning in until their breaths mingled.
