> Light Chaser Rescue Recap

Following his daughter Guoguo's collapse, Da Peng and his wife learned from the doctor that she urgently needed a kidney transplant. The doctor explained that dialysis was only a temporary measure and that finding a suitable child donor would be extremely difficult, urging them to prepare for significant medical expenses as the surgery must be performed as soon as a kidney became available.

Luo Ben offered to transfer money to Da Peng, but the proud father refused, insisting that it was his own responsibility to care for his child. He asked Luo Ben to keep Guoguo's illness a secret from the Light Chaser Rescue team to avoid burdening them. Luo Ben expressed concern, pointing out that even selling Da Peng's shop wouldn't cover the long-term costs of surgery and rehabilitation.

Later, Luo Ben met with Mr. Wang from the Polar Land Company, an outdoor products distributor. Mr. Wang proposed sponsoring a team to climb a snow mountain, hoping to use the Light Chaser Rescue team's reputation to enhance his brand's image. Luo Ben presented the offer to Captain Zhan Qingshan, who firmly rejected it. He reminded Luo Ben that Light Chaser was a non-profit organization and that accepting commercial collaborations, even for advanced equipment, would compromise their integrity.

Desperate for money, Da Peng secretly accepted Mr. Wang's offer and joined the Polar Land climbing team, which consisted mostly of amateur climbers. During the ascent of Mei'ao Snow Mountain, Da Peng, having exhausted himself by helping others, began to lag behind. One team member, Ma Yue, complained, but another, Duojie, defended Da Peng. Feeling dizzy from altitude sickness and a fever, Da Peng suggested they rest.

The experienced guide, Mr. Da, warned that a severe snowstorm was imminent and they should set up camp immediately. While treating a patient, Zhan Yan, now a doctor in a remote area, received a call from Mr. Da, the guide with Da Peng's team. He informed her that a Light Chaser member, Zhang Dapeng, was suffering from a high fever and altitude sickness and couldn't descend.

Recognizing the danger, Zhan Yan decided to go up the mountain to help, despite the risks. Cai Yuxiao insisted on accompanying her for her safety, and though she initially refused due to his lack of experience, he packed his gear and followed her. Upon reaching the camp, Zhan Yan treated Da Peng's fever and inflammation. As the team prepared to evacuate before the storm hit, Ma Yue's complaints about Da Peng sparked a fight with Duojie.

In the chaos, Zhan Yan lost her footing and fell into a deep ice crack. The team threw down a rope, but it snapped, sending her plummeting further. Unable to rescue her, the team decided to descend for help. Da Peng, too weak to resist, was dragged away while protesting. Only Cai Yuxiao chose to stay behind, vowing to wait with Zhan Yan for rescue.

The Light Chaser Rescue team received an emergency call that the Polar Land-sponsored team was missing on Mei'ao Snow Mountain, and Luo Ben learned that Da Peng and Zhan Yan were among them. The team quickly mobilized, setting up a base camp and deploying search parties. Soon, one of the parties, led by Xiong Fei, found the descending climbers. A barely conscious Da Peng woke up and frantically told them that Zhan Yan had fallen into an ice crack.

Xiong Fei immediately relayed this critical information to Luo Ben, who was leading another search party nearby. A frantic Luo Ben immediately headed towards the incident's location as the weather deteriorated. When Luo Ben's team reached the ice crack, they found Cai Yuxiao, covered in frost and sitting motionlessly. Roused by their arrival, Cai Yuxiao directed them to the edge of the crack where Zhan Yan had fallen, and the team began the perilous rescue operation.
