After the alarm was revealed to be a false one caused by Mr. Morgan's smoking, he acknowledged the mistake but reiterated his admiration for Fangqin Group's crisis management. His initial skepticism turned into genuine interest, and he expressed a strong desire to discuss a partnership with Fangqin Group. Ai Rui'er later praised Luo Ben's cleverness and resourcefulness, admitting that without his ingenious idea, securing the partnership would have been difficult.
Luo Ben revealed he devised the plan upon entering the company, capitalizing on the shared trait of both companies having emergency rescue teams and Mr. Morgan's frequent smoking habits. Ding Dingding adamantly refused, arguing that the changes would ruin her creative vision and the characters' popularity with readers.
She then personally visited the company, causing Zhou Mingming to frantically hide. Li Aiqi calmly explained a clause in their contract: Ding Dingding was obligated to modify the content until Zhou Mingming was satisfied. Luo Yuan brought children to visit the base, where Zhan Qingshan and Falcon helped popularize rescue knowledge. At the end of the visit, Luo Yuan felt a pang of disappointment because Xiong Fei was not present.
