Jingjing tugged at her clothes and looked at Yu Tu. She brought up the incident at the restaurant and admitted she had used the wrong words that day. Yu Tu had been waiting for her message all this time. He had checked her match records and wanted to know if she still needed him. Jingjing mentioned the strange parts Yu Tu had been sending her lately and invited him to dinner at her place.

Yu Tu, having been on a train all day, didn’t want to disturb her with his tired appearance and planned to go home, shower, and come over the next day. Realizing how exhausted he was, Jingjing insisted her driver take him home, giving him no room to refuse. Guan Zai’s wife, Shen Jing, reminded him to keep his promise not to travel again this year. Guan Zai was heavy-hearted, knowing he couldn’t hide his illness much longer.

He confessed that something was wrong with his health but was confident he would overcome it and stay by his wife and child’s side. Back home, Yu Tu lay on the bed exhausted. Shen Jing called to thank him for looking after Guan Zai in Xi’an.

Since she and Guan Zai had no family in Shanghai, and she had to go home to take care of the child at night, she asked Yu Tu to help look after him in the hospital. Yu Tu, deeply bonded with Guan Zai, agreed without hesitation and packed to head to the hospital. Shen Jing was overwhelmed by her husband’s illness but had to keep strong.

She had to care for both her husband and their child, balancing emotions and responsibilities, which brought her to tears. Guan Zai woke up and said he wanted to hire a caregiver so Yu Tu wouldn’t have to keep running back and forth. He tried to reassure himself, saying the illness had a high recovery rate and he would pull through. Shen Jing, too, forced herself to stay strong.

Before entering the ward, she wiped away her tears and continued to care for him, telling him to think of this illness as a vacation in Shanghai. In the morning, Yu Tu brought breakfast to Jingjing’s house. As always, he coached her in playing games. Seeing her focused expression touched him deeply. After a ten-game winning streak, Yu Tu continued repairing the projector.

While Jingjing was still gaming beside him, she was mocked by teammates, so she called in her secret weapon—Yu Tu—to help her finish the second half of the match. This time, Jingjing clearly sensed a change in Yu Tu—he had become gentler and more patient. She boldly asked to play on his phone, which happened to be the same model as the official tournament device. While helping her finish the match, Yu Tu told her his phone password and let her grab it herself to continue gaming.
