Xu Kai Scandal: Self-Proclaimed Ex-Girlfriend Xu Lisha Sparks Controversy With Explosive Allegations

On August 22, 2025, actor Xu Kai released a lawyer’s statement via social media, firmly denying recent online allegations of “infidelity,” “two-timing,” and “attempting to force intimacy after drinking.”
The statement confirmed that a police report has been filed and legal proceedings have been initiated. What began as a dispute rooted in personal relationships has now entered the judicial stage.
Lawyer’s Statement: Firm Denial of Allegations
Beijing Jincheng Tongda & Neal (Shanghai) Law Firm, authorized by Horgos Huanyu Film & TV Culture Co., Ltd. and Xu Kai, issued a formal lawyer’s statement on August 22.
The statement pointed out that certain online users had been spreading false claims about Xu Kai — including “infidelity,” “two-timing,” and “attempted forced intimacy after drinking” — through posts, comments, and insinuations, misleading the public.
The firm emphasized that these actions have seriously infringed upon Xu Kai’s right to reputation, causing significant harm to both his personal and professional life.

Legal Action to Pursue Accountability
The statement made it clear that the firm has been continuously collecting evidence of the alleged defamatory content.
Depending on circumstances, the legal team will adopt measures including but not limited to criminal complaints and civil lawsuits to hold the responsible parties accountable and safeguard Xu Kai’s legitimate rights.
The law firm also warned the infringing parties to immediately cease all actions damaging Xu Kai’s reputation and delete the defamatory content. At the same time, it urged netizens to remain rational, improve their ability to discern online information, and refrain from spreading rumors.
Origin of the Dispute: Relationship Accusations
The controversy originated from a series of posts by actress Xu Lisha, who claimed to be Xu Kai’s girlfriend in 2022. She alleged that the relationship ended after “Xu Kai was photographed checking into a hotel with Zhao Qing.”
In her detailed post, Xu Lisha accused Xu Kai of not only dating another actress from the same drama crew but also repeatedly engaging in coercive behavior toward her and other women after drinking.
She also published screenshots of alleged chat records with Xu Kai, including messages about him transferring 5,200 yuan (later refunded), cooking, and discussing how publicizing their relationship might affect his family.
Multiple Responses: Denial of Allegations
In response, Xu Kai’s studio quickly issued a statement debunking the alleged chat records, writing: “Fake!!! Police report filed!!!”
His manager Yu Zheng also commented under related posts, stating that Xu Kai is currently single. He clarified that Xu Kai and the actress mentioned in the rumors had only a brief connection while filming in 2021 and have had no contact since. He stressed that the chat logs were fabricated and confirmed that a police report had been filed.
Meanwhile, Zhao Qing’s studio issued a Weibo statement, declaring: “Ms. Zhao Qing is currently single. The online claims of ‘being a mistress,’ ‘relationship,’ or ‘affair’ are entirely false. These defamatory rumors have seriously infringed upon Ms. Zhao Qing’s right to reputation and other lawful rights. Evidence has been preserved, and legal action will be pursued.”
Escalation: Both Sides Confront Each Other
After Xu Kai’s lawyer’s statement was released, Xu Lisha did not remain silent. Instead, she publicly sought legal support, writing: “I also need a lawyer, please recommend one.”
She also singled out Yu Zheng in a sarcastic tone, saying: “Mr. Yu Zheng, surely you won’t have me arrested just because I was cheated on while dating? I even wanted to be your dream fan, and now you want to sue me? I’m so disappointed.”
With both sides sticking to their claims, the incident has escalated from online accusations into a full-fledged legal confrontation, drawing widespread public attention to its future developments.
