Yue Jinzhao and Yue Qi came to see Ying Xuwei. Ge Qingfei told the two that Chu Yu was blood-bound to the Mist Soul, and the Hengdao Sect relied on collecting a large amount of life force to feed her and heal the Yu Tribe. However, the Qiyuan Orb contained the dark emotions of humans before their death, which Chu Yu also devoured, causing her to become increasingly demonized day by day.

If she were to completely lose control one day, then the Six Realms would be destroyed as a result. Therefore, they reached an agreement with Chu Yu that they would kill her if the situation got out of control. However, the only one who could kill Chu Yu was the child she created with her bone and blood, and that child was Qi. Regarding Yue Jinzhao's background, it began three years ago.

Three years ago, Ying Xuwei met Bian Luohuan from three years in the future. Bian Luohuan told Ying Xuwei that in three years, he would be severely injured and unable to bear the Resonance with Qi, preventing him from fighting Chu Yu with her. Therefore, he traveled from the Mist Soul to the Dragon Pool to exchange for a new life, leaving him in this time and space to resonate with this timeline's Qi in his place.

Bian Luohuan erased Yue Qi's memory and sent her to the Mortal Realm. The one who woke up with Qi was Yue Jinzhao, the life he exchanged for from the Dragon Pool. Yue Jinzhao didn't believe this was his background, but Bian Luohuan also appeared and told him the events of how they found the two of them unconscious in Wuyan Village three years ago.

At that time, Ying Xuwei and others discovered that Yue Jinzhao and Yue Qi's Resonance technique was indeed far superior to Bian Luohuan's, so they agreed to let the two temper themselves in the Mortal Realm for three years. Yue Qi was unwilling to accept that Ying Xuwei and the others had painstakingly planned all of this just so she and Jinzhao would kill Chu Yu.

Ge Qingfei stated that people in various places were turning to stone, which showed that Chu Yu was slowly losing control, and if Chu Yu was not killed, the entire Mortal Realm might be plunged into misery. Yue Qi was unwilling to accept this fact. Ying Xuwei told the two to go to the Sea of Sunny Skies and descend into the Mist Soul tomorrow to verify all of this together.

Ge Qingfei could tell that Bian Luohuan now wanted Yue Qi to hate him. Bian Luohuan also said that if Yue Qi didn't love him, he would rather Yue Qi hate him than forget him.
