Ling Lingqi watched Bo Hai on television, smiling sweetly until she drifted into a dream. In a castle, she pushed open a door to find Bo Hai, who had just woken up and was buttoning his shirt. He blushed and hastily retreated. During the subsequent dream nights, they enjoyed themselves, fighting monsters and flying through the sky. Ling Lingqi grew closer to Bo Hai, and their bond deepened.
In these dreams, the usually reserved Bo Hai and the timid Ling Lingqi shed their real-life inhibitions, transforming into "Prince Jack" and "Queen Mary," weaving warm, unique stories together. Ling Lingqi later spoke on the phone, expressing curiosity about a "dream at the same frequency" and the possibility of entering someone else's dream, though she denied it happening to her since using her dream bracelet. She concluded the call by saying she was always fast asleep.
Meanwhile, Wen Guangqi, a Vice President at FlowerPlus, secretly sold the company's shares to DREAM, an aggressive company, attempting to collaborate with them to take over FlowerPlus. This move caused unrest among the opportunistic shareholders, leaving the company in a precarious state. To counter this crisis, Bo Hai met with Mr. Fan of Starlight Investment, hoping they would invest in FlowerPlus. He directly stated FlowerPlus's cash flow pressure and DREAM's acquisition of over 10% of their stock.
Mr. Fan, however, expressed hesitation about investing in an unfamiliar industry like floriculture. Bo Hai argued that while Mr. Fan might be a layman in floriculture, he was a master of investment, and that FlowerPlus was currently undervalued, making it a lucrative opportunity for Starlight Investment. At a FlowerPlus branch, Mo Nan was sent by the Marketing Department to collect material for a promotional video about daily store operations, and he was assigned Ling Lingqi as his assistant.
Ling Lingqi, remembering Mo Nan's prank that had embarrassed her previously, decided to get revenge by making him pluck rose thorns with his bare hands, causing him considerable pain. After work, Ling Lingqi and Lu Baoni were at a street food stall, complaining about Mo Nan. Mo Nan unexpectedly appeared and offered to treat them. Ling Lingqi and Lu Baoni eagerly accepted, ordering a huge amount of food that piled high on the table.
The bill came to an astonishing 1250 yuan. When Mo Nan admitted he didn't have his wallet, the two women, full from their meal, humorously "punished" him. Chen Mo informed Bo Hai that DREAM would officially propose their acquisition plan the following day at a shareholder meeting. He noted that Mr. Fan was still hesitating about the investment. Chen Mo suggested a negotiation with DREAM instead of direct confrontation, fearing a worse outcome, but Bo Hai firmly rejected the idea.
He founded FlowerPlus at 22, building it into a multi-billion yuan group within six years, making it his life's work which he would not abandon easily. That night, Bo Hai went to sleep troubled. In his dream, he woke up embracing Ling Lingqi, finding themselves suspended in mid-air. Ling Lingqi feigned sleep. A dragon attacked again, terrifying Bo Hai, but Ling Lingqi was unconcerned, believing she could summon rain.
Her first attempt brought a salted fish, but her second call brought a huge fish that crushed the dragon. Ling Lingqi observed that each dream had a different setting and her abilities also varied. The next morning, they both woke in their own beds; Ling Lingqi admired herself in the mirror, while Bo Hai replayed the dream in his mind. The next day, Bo Hai, Chen Mo, Zhou Xinyan, and FlowerPlus faced a major crisis.
In the conference room, Wen Guangqi, representing DREAM, attended the shareholder meeting to propose the acquisition. Bo Hai confronted Wen Guangqi, reminding him how Wen Guangqi had once begged him to save his company, only for Wen Guangqi to now betray FlowerPlus by selling his own company and shares to connect with DREAM. Bo Hai defiantly threw the acquisition contract onto the table, rejecting the takeover, and left the office with determined steps.
After work, Mo Nan was again "abducted" by Lu Baoni and Ling Lingqi to the same street food stall, where his wallet and phone were confiscated. The two women ordered a large feast of seafood and grilled items, leaving Mo Nan distressed as they ate their fill. As night fell, Bo Hai put on his bracelet and entered another dream. This time, he was able to face the dragon independently.
When the dragon launched a powerful attack, Ling Lingqi saved him. They then rode a flying horse, soaring through the sky and engaging in a fierce battle with the dragon. After the dragon was shattered, its blood transformed into delicate red petals that drifted through the air, turning the valley into a romantic, idol-drama-like scene where the hero and heroine embraced sweetly. The following day, the wavering shareholders within the company were ready to surrender to DREAM.
However, Bo Hai dropped a bombshell: Mr. Fan of Starlight Investment had decided to invest in FlowerPlus. The shareholders immediately switched their allegiance back to Bo Hai. Seeing the change in momentum, Wen Guangqi attempted to appease Bo Hai, but Bo Hai refused to yield. In the meeting, he publicly denounced Wen Guangqi, declaring war on DREAM and vowing to spare no effort to drive Wen Guangqi and DREAM out of FlowerPlus.
Back at the branch, Ling Lingqi continued to gaze at Bo Hai on television, lost in daydreams. Upon hearing that Bo Hai would be visiting the store, she excitedly began cleaning, like a young girl preparing for her boyfriend's arrival. Bo Hai arrived in a luxury car, and in Ling Lingqi's eyes, he transformed into Prince Jack from her dreams, approaching her dressed in a golden prince costume, igniting her hormones. However, Bo Hai soon received a call and left.
Ling Lingqi tried to follow him but tripped over a flower basket. That evening, Ling Lingqi, Mo Nan, and Lu Baoni recounted the day's events. After Mo Nan and Lu Baoni walked Ling Lingqi home, Lu Baoni, walking with Mo Nan, again indulged in her self-obsession, believing Mo Nan was pursuing her, while Mo Nan chuckled in agreement. On his way home, Bo Hai was preoccupied with the details of his dreams, a fact Chen Mo observed with slight confusion.
Bo Hai explained that his ability to defeat DREAM stemmed from his dreams. He revealed that ever since DREAM began targeting FlowerPlus, the dream dragon had been a persistent tormentor, seemingly representing DREAM. But in his dreams, Ling Lingqi fought alongside him against the enemy, which is why the dragon was ultimately defeated and he gained the courage to resist DREAM in reality.
Although DREAM canceled their acquisition plan, Bo Hai suspected it was a trick and instructed Chen Mo to keep a close eye on Wen Guangqi to prevent any underhanded tactics. Indeed, Wen Guangqi and DREAM had not genuinely canceled the acquisition; DREAM had anticipated Bo Hai's resistance and already prepared a second strategy, which was now set into motion. At the branch, Mo Nan informed Ling Lingqi that the Marketing Department was going to shoot promotional photos of Bo Hai.
Ling Lingqi immediately started trying to coax Mo Nan into taking her to the photoshoot. Since the store manager was absent, they left work early and went to the main office. Ling Lingqi became incredibly nervous upon seeing a man from behind she believed to be Bo Hai, busy straightening her appearance and calming herself outside the door. However, the man turned around, revealing it was Chen Mo, not Bo Hai, causing Ling Lingqi to shriek and run away.
While lost in the company building, she was on the phone with Mo Nan when she encountered Bo Hai stepping out of an elevator. Ling Lingqi's heart raced as she watched Bo Hai walk towards her, backlit, with a steady gait.
