The film is adapted from the short story of the same name by Tibetan writer Jiang Yang Cai Rang, and tells the story of a day in the late 1990s, when a blizzard is about to descend on a pristine forest on the Tibetan plateau, and a forest ranger is caught up in a case of police pursuing poachers.

Synopsis
In the tranquil snowy forest, the sound of knocking on the door echoed through the blanket of snow, under the raging blizzard. Amidst the howling winds, sirens and gunshots suddenly rang out. A mysterious man claiming to be a forest ranger police officer arrived at the cabin of the forest ranger, Sangjie. Faced with the nervous and suspicious Sangjie, the mysterious man indicated that if the poachers found them, they would be in mortal danger. To save their lives, both men armed themselves and lay in ambush within the forest and the cabin.
Beneath the seemingly calm snow-covered landscape, there was an underlying atmosphere of impending violence. Amidst the tension, the arrival of an elderly man named Genbao further added to the suspense. Both men held their breath.
In the midst of this tense standoff, another round of frantic knocking on the door rang out. A bloodied man, armed with a gun, burst in, claiming that he had been pursuing poachers all the way to this location. In this small cabin, the four individuals, each with their own hidden agenda, found themselves in a meeting of "heroes." In this intense battle of deceit and brutality, it was unclear who was telling the truth.
