Lin Dong and Ling Qingzhu fell into a stone coffin. Outside, Xiao Diao struggled to open the lid, complaining, "What kind of broken coffin is this? I used to be able to destroy with a hit of a palm." Inside, Ling Qingzhu also tried to push it open, but found she had no energy left. She told Lin Dong, "Stop squishing me. Get up!" Lin Dong also claimed to have no energy.
Lin Dong then took the opportunity to embrace Ling Qingzhu. When she asked what he was doing, he responded, "There's so little air in here. I'll leave the air for you. I'm holding my breath." Ling Qingzhu retorted, "There are fissures everywhere, you don't have to leave the air for me. Be serious!" Lin Dong then asked her, "Miss Fairy, if we both die, can I hold your hand till death?" Ling Qingzhu replied, "You won't die.
Don't you have nine lives?" She then told him to get up. Just as Lin Dong pulled her closer, Xiao Diao announced from outside, "I found the mechanism, don't be panic. It's open, it's open." He then addressed Lin Dong, "Lin Dong, I saved your life again this time. Did you really die? If you die, who will find the way for me to transform? Do you want me to live in the ancestral talisman forever?"
Lin Dong responded, "All right. Don't curse me to death. There's a scent of dead people in here. I almost died of that putrid smell." Ling Qingzhu then told Lin Dong to move, and Lin Dong apologized to her for frightening her. The group then discovered the Heart of Nirvana floating above them. Xiao Diao explained, "Is that the Heart of Nirvana?

It must be bundled up by powerful Yuan Energy, in order to get it." Ling Qingzhu asked him to repeat, and he did. Lin Dong stepped forward, saying, "Yuan Energy from a dead person cannot injure me. Miss Fairy, you don't need to worry about me."
Ling Qingzhu, however, told him, "Keep your distance. I’m not worried about you. I'm worried that you'll destroy the Heart of Nirvana." Lin Dong countered, "You are the Talisman Envoy and you aren't worried about the ancestral talisman successor?" Ling Qingzhu mockingly asked, "Don't you have nine lives?" and Lin Dong replied, "You just aren't worried." Lin Dong urged caution as Ling Qingzhu used her Yuan Energy to retrieve the Heart of Nirvana.
The Heart of Nirvana then melted into Ling Qingzhu's body, causing her to instantly become flirtatious and aggressive. Just as Lin Dong, startled, asked her what was wrong, Ying Huanhuan and Lin Langtian opened a fissure and jumped down into the space. As Ying Huanhuan and Lin Langtian arrived, they saw Ling Qingzhu push Lin Dong down and passionately kiss him. Xiao Diao exclaimed, "You idiot. That nirvana old man practiced Duo Cultivation.
Yin and yang intersect and combine as one." Lin Dong tried to rouse her, yelling, "Miss Fairy, wake up! Wake up!" Ling Qingzhu, still in a daze, muttered, "It's. . . It's not a good time. I. . . I'm not ready yet." Lin Langtian quickly stepped forward and infused Ling Qingzhu with his Yuan energy, bringing her back to her senses. Bewildered, Ling Qingzhu asked, "What happened? You all saw it? You all saw it, right? I did nothing.
I just. . ." Ying Huanhuan angrily cut her off, "It was you. I saw it! It was you who kissed him first." Ling Qingzhu denied it, but Ying Huanhuan persisted, "What kind of scheme are you plotting?" Ling Qingzhu tried to protest, "Impossible, I. . ." Ying Huanhuan, overwhelmed, ran to the side and started crying. Ling Qingzhu, furious and ashamed, drew her sword, declaring to Lin Dong, "Lin Dong, I'll kill you."
Lin Dong retorted, "You didn't say you weren't willing." As Ling Qingzhu lunged, Lin Langtian bravely intercepted the attack, taking the sword strike meant for Lin Dong. The impact, however, activated the Love Talisman within Lin Langtian. Lin Langtian asked Lin Dong if he was okay. Lin Dong, seeing the blood, grabbed Lin Langtian's hand, and both men, now controlled by the Love Talisman, launched a fierce attack on Ying Huanhuan and Ling Qingzhu, severely injuring both women.
Back at Qiwu Tower, Yan Shi, after investigating, confirmed that the dangerous talisman was not on Qingtan. Xuan Su had inquired who it could be on, suggesting Miss Ling or Miss Ying, or even Xiao Yan or Marten. Yan Shi dismissed the latter two, explaining they were beasts and the talisman wouldn't affect them, then concluded, "There's another person." He then deduced that the talisman might be on Lin Langtian. The group immediately rushed back to the ancient tomb.
Outside, Xiao Yan was frantic, while Ying Huanhuan cried and Ling Qingzhu, still severely injured, was present. Qingtan repeatedly asked, "Where is my brother? Where is he?" and urged them to find Lin Dong quickly. Ling Qingzhu revealed, "That Love Talisman is on Lin Langtian's body." Yan Shi assured them, "They shouldn't have gone far. I'll see if I can sense where the Devour Talisman is."
Despite his efforts, he then stated, "I'm afraid the Devour Talisman is in the hands of someone else." Qingtan, distressed, asked, "Then, where's my brother?" Yan Shi admitted, "Marten didn't have time to tell me. Seems like we need to think of a different way." Ying Huanhuan, injured and upset, insisted, "It can't be. Impossible. Lin Dong wouldn't let anyone steal the Devour Talisman. Something happened. I need to find him."
Ling Qingzhu advised her, "Where are you going to go? Also, you're injured badly." Ying Huanhuan declared, "I'll get him back from the Yin Puppet Sect, in the name of the Dao Sect." Qingtan also wanted to go save her brother. Ling Qingzhu cautioned, "Go off the deep end will only alert the enemy." Ying Huanhuan, however, accused Ling Qingzhu, "Ling Qingzhu, aren't you the Talisman Envoy?
Aren't you really hoping that he's in trouble, so that you can be freed. Right?" Ling Qingzhu simply replied, "Say whatever you want." Meanwhile, Lin Langtian and Lin Dong, now under the control of the Love Talisman, had arrived before Mu Qianqian and Teng Lei, becoming Teng Lei's Talisman Puppets. Teng Lei, gloating, ordered Lin Dong to kneel, proclaiming, "Do you now know what a walking dead is? Little bastard, Dare you be arrogant anymore? Stand up!
What a pity, Ling Qingzhu can't see you right now." Xiao Diao, through his connection with Yan Shi, urgently called for help, "Old Man Yan, save us quickly. Lin Dong got Teng Lei's Love Talisman, he's unconscious." Yan Shi immediately recognized Xiao Diao's voice and asked, "Marten, where are you now?" Xiao Diao replied, "We're in the forest, I can’t distinguish the directions." Yan Shi realized, "That talisman cannot be controlled by ordinary people.

Teng Lei, now with the Devour Talisman, was eager to become the legitimate Talisman Guru, but Mu Qianqian informed him that Lin Dong's Natal Spirit Charm had fully integrated with him and could not be easily extracted. Frustrated, Teng Lei exclaimed, "Why? Why? Why! If so, I'll put an end to this troublemaker to clear my humiliation at Qiwu Tower." Mu Qianqian, however, countered, "Killing him that way is being too nice to him.
That life transforming pond is created by nature. If a person stays in it for a while, they will die mentally and physically. And they can also release even more energy for me to use." Teng Lei, excited, commanded his minions, "Is it real? You, quick, quick. Come here. Quickly, lift him up. Throw him into the pond." As Lin Dong was thrown into the pond, Mu Qianqian secretly thought to herself, "Very good.
I'll just let them kill each other." Yan Shi told the others that it was too late to go after Lin Dong now. " The President has now lost consciousness. Only the people outside of the illusion are the real ones. They are all waiting for you. Come! Come back with me!"
Lin Dong, still under the illusion's sway, responded, "Yan, I don't want to leave. It’s real." Yan Shi sternly warned, "An illusion is indeed wonderful, but it's still just an illusion. If you lose yourself in it, you'll become a part of it. You must wake up from this illusion!" Outside, Xuan Su cried out, "Master Yan! What's wrong? Master Yan's qi and pulse are getting weak. He has already fallen deep into Lin Dong's spiritual domain."
Qingtan, seeing Yan Shi in distress, offered, "Senior Xuan Su, my ice toxin might work. Let me try." Xuan Su hesitated but allowed it. Qingtan then activated her cold poison, causing a chill to spread and snowflakes to fall. Xuan Su warned everyone, "Qingtan's power is getting stronger each time. Everyone, protect your vital channels. Be careful of letting the icy qi from entering your body and harming you."
Inside the spiritual domain, Ying Huanhuan and Ling Qingzhu also appeared to urge Lin Dong. Ying Huanhuan declared, "Stinky rascal, I like you! Didn't you say that you liked me? Stop pretending. It's so cold. Let's quickly leave. . . you're not capable of the Guild President of the Talismans Guild! I’m telling you, If you don't leave today, I won't let you off!" Ling Qingzhu pleaded, "Lin Dong, don't stay here. Leave with me. Everything in here is false.
Your father is dead. Your little sister is still waiting for you. Master Yan is also waiting for you. Everyone outside is waiting for you. Don't stay here! Please. Life-Transforming Pond in the forest outside the city!" Xiao Yan instantly rushed to that location and brought a revived Lin Dong back. Lin Dong, asked by Xiao Yan if he was okay, replied, "I'm still alive." Snowflakes continued to fall as Qingtan tearfully embraced Lin Dong, while Ying Huanhuan also shed tears. Lin Dong checked on Yan Shi, who confirmed, "I'm fine. Finally, we pull through. It's a good thing. Now is not the time to cry.
How about we go back to Qiwu Tower to save the lives of our other disciples." Meanwhile, Mu Qianqian ordered Teng Lei to release Lin Langtian from the Talisman Puppet spell. Teng Lei, still controlling Lin Langtian, questioned her, "Why? What will you do if I don’t? Senior Mu, I can see it now. You have special feelings toward this fellow." Mu Qianqian calmly replied, "Of course.
As the Deacon Elder of Yuan Gate, I can't disregard the lives of our disciples." Teng Lei then asked, "Since you pity fate and mankind this much, why did you place the talisman on him and put him in danger?" Mu Qianqian responded, "Just to achieve one's goal, what's wrong with employing some necessary steps?" Teng Lei, seemingly appeased, agreed to release him.
However, under Teng Lei's control, Lin Langtian suddenly embraced Mu Qianqian, giving Teng Lei the perfect opportunity to snatch the Devour Talisman from her. Teng Lei, now with the Ancestral Talisman, taunted, "It's you who taught me that to achieve one's goals, one must use tricks! Idiot. Just because I call you Senior Mu, you must think that I'm really stupid? With this Devour Talisman, that rowdy Talismans Guild is worth nothing.
The Talisman Guru Tower Competition will surely be controlled by our Yin Puppet Sect. The ancestral talisman is mine." Teng Lei gratefully promised, "Thank you, Senior. I won't do them again." Xiao Diao observed this entire exchange. After returning to Qiwu Tower, Ling Qingzhu used the Heart of Nirvana to awaken the Talismans Guild disciples who had been turned into puppets. As they awoke, some disciples grumbled, "When our new guild president came, not only did he bring a weird little sister with him, he invited endless troubles. Even Master Yan is now injured.
Our Talismans Guild severely suffered a setback. How are we going to handle the upcoming Tower Competition?" Ling Qingzhu tried to defend Lin Dong, but Yan Shi intervened, saying, "Enough. This is not the time for blaming each other. Everyone should hurry and recuperate." Lin Dong apologized, "Sorry. I'm sorry to everyone." He added to Ling Qingzhu, "Miss Fairy, you don't need to defend me. It’s my fault indeed. Once Master Yan wakes up, I'll ask for punishment from him.
It's his decision if I'll stay or leave." He then addressed the recovering disciples, "Co-disciples, please do not blame Qingtan. Focus on recuperating." Lin Dong then comforted Qingtan, who was still upset, asking, "Brother, did I bring you trouble?" He reassured her, "It's me who is useless. Qingtan, after you grow up, you will become greater than me. Stop frowning." He asked Xiao Yan to take good care of Qingtan while he went to the rooftop to reflect.
From a distance, Ying Huanhuan watched Lin Dong alone on the rooftop. When her senior brother, Wu Dao, arrived and asked, "Junior, aren't you coming back to Dao Sect with me?"
