Love O2O Episode 30 (Ending) Recap
> Love O2O Recap
After graduation, Weiwei asked Xiao Nai to help her move her luggage to Xiao Ling's apartment, explaining that she and her three roommates would still live together, just in a new place. She felt no sadness about leaving the dorm. Xiao Nai questioned if Da Zhong had any objections to this arrangement, and Weiwei innocently asked why he would. Amused, Xiao Nai simply told her to get in the car. He then took Weiwei’s luggage directly to his own home.
Weiwei assumed he would sleep on the sofa and warned him it was bad for his neck, but Xiao Nai assured her he had no intention of sleeping on the sofa. Xiao Nai later informed Weiwei that they would go to Wuhan by car two days after her graduation ceremony. Weiwei was puzzled, stating she wouldn't be working in Wuhan and had no luggage to take back.
Xiao Nai clarified that since she grew up there, she would have items to move to their new home, and driving would be more convenient. He then playfully declared his determination to not return her to her parents. Upon their arrival in Wuhan, only Weiwei's mother came downstairs to greet them. Upstairs, Weiwei’s father was meticulously preparing a comprehensive set of questions on his laptop, designed to test his future son-in-law's strength, endurance, IQ, and EQ.
As soon as Xiao Nai entered, he faced rigorous scrutiny. At dinner, Weiwei's father questioned the reliability of a career in gaming. That night, he insisted Xiao Nai sleep on the sofa to test if he snored. The next morning, he sent Xiao Nai to the supermarket for groceries, intending to test his running speed and endurance.
Weiwei confronted her father about his demanding behavior, asking him to consider how he would feel if Xiao Nai’s parents treated her with such strictness. Her father vehemently responded that his daughter would never suffer such unfair treatment in another family. He then admitted that while he didn't dislike Xiao Nai, his perceived perfection made him uneasy. To counter this, Weiwei revealed that Xiao Nai couldn't cook.
Hearing this, her father immediately deemed it a "fatal flaw," dramatically crossing out all of Xiao Nai’s previous high scores in his notebook and declaring that he would not allow his daughter to marry someone she would have to cook for every day. Feeling she had only made things worse, Weiwei told Xiao Nai what happened. He calmly agreed to speak with her father himself, and Weiwei waited anxiously in the living room.
Just ten minutes later, Weiwei’s father emerged with a completely changed demeanor, now urging Weiwei to marry Xiao Nai as soon as possible, emphasizing the benefits of marrying young and having children early. It turned out Xiao Nai had won him over by discussing the country's two-child policy. The prospect of becoming a grandfather to two adorable grandchildren filled Weiwei’s father with such joy that he was now eager for the wedding.
He was so enthusiastic that Weiwei’s mother playfully asked if she was also going to be a grandmother. With Weiwei's father's approval secured, Xiao Nai immediately called his mother to arrange the betrothal gift, fast-tracking their marriage preparations. Weiwei's roommates visited her new house, marveling at its design style. They all praised Xiao Nai’s skills and playfully asked if he could design their future homes too. Next, they clamored to see Weiwei's wedding gown.
Weiwei told them it was in the bedroom and too heavy for her to carry. Her roommates excitedly opened large boxes on the bed, revealing a stunning traditional phoenix coronet and ceremonial robe. They were awestruck, though one jokingly remarked Weiwei was "wearing a bathroom on her head." Weiwei explained Xiao Nai had assured her it was an investment that wouldn't lose value.
As they left, the roommates playfully tried to invite Weiwei to stay with them, but Xiao Nai gently insisted she stay with him, driving them home instead. Back home, Xiao Nai helped Weiwei put on the intricate layers of her beautiful traditional wedding attire. As he looked at her in the mirror, she appeared angelic. Overwhelmed by her beauty, he kissed her deeply, intending to truly make her his wife that night.
Later, Xiao Nai took Weiwei to the internet cafe where he had first seen her. He revealed that he had bought the property, and Zhi Yi Company would soon be moving their offices there. He pointed to the specific seat where she had been gaming, reminiscing about how her swift and agile movements on the keyboard had first caught his attention. He confessed that if he had known then what he knew now, he would have fallen in love with her at first sight.
