Love O2O Episode 25 Recap
> Love O2O Recap
Xiao Ling called Weiwei, having learned about her argument with Zhao Erxi and her moving out. Xiao Ling attempted to mediate, explaining that Erxi had a particular temper and suggesting Weiwei be more understanding. After the call, Weiwei was lost in thought, but Xiao Nai interrupted her to say he would help her move her luggage to his apartment after work, and then he would move to his parents' place. Weiwei politely declined, insisting she could manage on her own.
As Weiwei finished packing her bags at Xiao Ling's place and stepped out, she encountered Zhen Shaoxiang, who had sought her out after realizing she lived with Zhao Erxi. Zhen Shaoxiang brazenly approached her, even disparaging Xiao Nai by mentioning that his student team had sought investment from Zhen Yi Technology but was deemed unseasoned. Weiwei, annoyed, stopped to confront him.
She asserted that, to her knowledge, Zhi Yi Technology and Zhen Yi Technology were both competing for the development rights of "A New Chinese Ghost Story," placing them on equal footing. She then questioned Zhen Shaoxiang's position in Zhen Yi Technology, noting that Xiao Nai was Zhi Yi Technology's lead programmer and planner. Unfazed by Weiwei's sharp retort, Zhen Shaoxiang found it amusing that her temperament was just like her character in the game.
Weiwei arrived at Xiao Nai's apartment with her luggage, finding that he had already packed most of his belongings. She asked if he was truly letting her have his apartment, to which Xiao Nai responded that he lacked confidence in his self-control. He added that he was fortunate to have his parents' place as an option; otherwise, he would have to sleep on the office floor. A heavy rainstorm caused a severe leak at Xiao Nai's parents' house.
Fortunately, the family's precious collectibles were unharmed. Xiao Nai decided to move these valuable pieces to his apartment. Citing concern for Weiwei being alone with the valuables, he conveniently made an excuse to stay with her to guard the collection. Later that night, as Weiwei read in bed and Xiao Nai worked on his game in the living room, Weiwei looked at the peaceful scene and imagined their life together decades into the future, finding the thought quite appealing.
Meanwhile, Cao Guang repeatedly watched the videos Zhao Erxi had sent him, documenting Coffee's daily activities. Overwhelmed, he finally sent Erxi a text message apologizing for his previous behavior and offering to wait for her at their usual in-game spot, allowing her to kill him a hundred times to vent her anger. Cao Guang then remembered he still needed to settle a score.
He called Na Na, instructing her and Meng Yiran to meet him at the school's south gate at 10:00 AM the next day. Na Na defiantly questioned his attitude. Cao Guang retorted, reminding her that she had secretly filmed him, distributed the video, and slandered a fellow student, asking what kind of attitude she expected from him. He warned them that if they failed to show up, they would face the consequences.
When Cao Guang met Na Na and Meng Yiran, he ignored their apologies. He simply warned them to mind their words, stating that if he heard any more negative rumors about Weiwei, regardless of the source, he would hold them accountable. Weiwei dozed off on the sofa while logged into her game. Xiao Nai gently covered her with a blanket. He noticed Zhenshui Wuxiang's character standing beside Weiwei's, reminiscing about their past as an in-game couple.
When Zhenshui Wuxiang explicitly requested a fresh start, Xiao Nai, controlling Weiwei's character, typed a single message: "I'm Yixiao Naihe." This revelation infuriated Zhenshui Wuxiang, who almost smashed his computer. Upon learning that Yixiao Naihe was indeed Xiao Nai, Zhen Shaoxiang struggled to process the information. Elsewhere, Zhen Yi Technology held incriminating evidence against A Shuang's friend, coercing A Shuang into obtaining the core code for Zhi Yi Technology's new game.
A Shuang explained that Xiao Nai's critical codes were encrypted with a 128-bit key, making it impossible for him to crack. Zhen Yi Technology then requested any other relevant information. To protect his friend, A Shuang reluctantly disclosed a critical flaw in Zhi Yi's new game: it consumed a significant amount of memory. However, he also revealed that Xiao Nai was developing an optimization tool that, once completed, would drastically reduce memory usage.
Realizing A Shuang's limited access made sabotage difficult, Mr. Zhen suggested approaching Feng Teng Corporation to move up the demonstration date, thereby denying Zhi Yi Technology enough time to finish their optimization tool. Motivated by the competition, Zhen Shaoxiang approached his father, requesting to join the team vying for the "A New Chinese Ghost Story" project.
He declared himself a veteran player and claimed no one in the company understood the game better than he did, vowing to thoroughly defeat Xiao Nai. However, after reviewing Zhen Yi Technology's current game sample, Zhen Shaoxiang was deeply disappointed, calling it unappealing. He criticized the mediocre character designs, indistinct skills, crude scenery, and lack of creativity. He offered five times the regular overtime pay, demanding the design team immediately implement his suggested improvements.
Meanwhile, Yu Banshan discovered two fully paid-off apartment contracts in Hao Mei's drawer, revealing Hao Mei's unexpected wealth. Hao Mei was immediately chastised by his friends, with even KO unable to protect him. Yu Gong pointed out that Hao Mei, a "tycoon," had borrowed money from him, a "proletarian," during their college days and never repaid it.
Hao Mei defended himself, explaining that he was genuinely poor back then; after applying to Qing University against his father's wishes, he was financially cut off and left with only 600 yuan a month for living expenses. He jokingly added that he would never have come to Beijing if he had known it had "Third Brother" (Xiao Nai) and sandstorms. Xiao Nai dryly told Yu Gong to let Hao Mei know that he would remember being equated to a sandstorm.
