Left with nothing to do, the two wandered around the aquarium to pass the time.
Meanwhile, the tsundere Yuan Shuai showed up at the aquarium as planned, searching for Jiang Jun—only to find her standing next to Du Lei. Du Lei was explaining different types of jellyfish to Jiang Jun, using the story of the stygian jellyfish as a metaphor for his own situation. To Du Lei, Jiang Jun was like sunlight, but she simply took it as an interesting fact, oblivious to any deeper meaning.
Yuan Shuai, who had been secretly watching for a while, felt a pang of jealousy.
