Xiang Liu, however, declared with unwavering resolve, “Though a thousand men stand in my way, I shall go forth,” showing extraordinary courage and determination. Meanwhile, Chishui Fenglong stormed home in anger and poured out his grievances to his father about Chenrong Xinyue, claiming she was too spoiled. But his father’s words left him speechless.

It turned out that Chenrong Xinyue had lived as a political hostage in Xiyan City for 120 years for his sake, trading her youth and freedom to ensure Chishui Fenglong had a carefree childhood. Upon learning the truth, Chishui Fenglong was filled with guilt. He promised his father that from then on, he would cherish and treat his sister better.

Chishui Fenglong volunteered to try persuading them again, but he still failed to convince Hong Jiang. The attempt to secure a surrender met another dead end. Hu Zhen brought news that Tushan Zhen was seriously ill, causing Tushan Jing great anxiety. He decided to visit Qingshui Town immediately. Upon hearing this, Xiling Jiuyao was visibly worried and offered to go with him. Tushan Jing gladly agreed.

Upon arriving in Qingshui Town, Xiling Jiuyao immediately began treating Tushan Zhen but was suddenly attacked by Fangfeng Yiying and knocked unconscious. Fangfeng Yiying, in a fit of emotion, explained that Tushan Hou had poisoned their own son, and she had no choice but to act to protect Tushan Zhen. Tushan Jing, desperate to save his beloved, had no choice but to fight. However, due to the gap in strength, he was seriously injured and collapsed. At the critical moment, Fangfeng Yiying suddenly turned on Tushan Hou and shot an arrow at him, revealing that her true target had always been Tushan Hou. She also left a letter for Tushan Zhen, revealing the sins of his parents. Then, in a final act of resolve, Fangfeng Yiying embraced Tushan Hou, and the two perished together.
