Shen Qingyuan, instead of giving a direct answer, told Du Lingfeng that his biggest flaw was a lack of persistence, prompting a playful retort from Du Lingfeng. Later, Shen Qingyuan and Tang Xin visited their pet hedgehog, Jujube, discussing its health and Tang Xin’s playful suggestion to watch its diet. Shen Qingyuan reflected that the concept of "future" had always felt distant to him, but meeting Tang Xin had inspired him to be more proactive, emphasizing that only the present and future with her truly mattered. She confirmed Tang Xin's visits during his hospital stay, clarifying that her purpose was to heal herself in order to build a lasting relationship with him.
