Decent Things is a wuxia action film co-directed and written by Xu Haofeng and Xu Junfeng, starring Chen Kun and Leo Wu.
Adapted from Xu Haofeng's novel of the same name, the film is set in 1931 during the Republican era. It tells the story of a banker who hires an incognito primary school martial arts teacher to retrieve an ancient painting being seized by a prominent scholar. In the process, a southern hermit master, novice thieves, and the king of thieves become entangled, leading to a multi-layered game of deception.

Synopsis
In 1931, a gentleman borrowed an ancient painting from a bank president for appreciation, but "borrowed without returning." Bound by face-saving, the president could only "send someone to retrieve the painting."
A primary school martial arts teacher accepted the commission, but on the way, he encountered a reclusive southern master. The two failed to "retrieve the painting" and instead fell into a trap, forcing them to seek alternative solutions...
