Synopsis
Lin Li, a failed production coordinator from the "Hengdian drifters" community, who returns to a Zhejiang island to take over the struggling "Wanghai Homestay" in order to care for her grandmother. By chance, she lands a job as a guide for art film director Gu Yuan, assisting him with location scouting. Initially clashing due to their differing perspectives, the two gradually come to understand and eventually collaborate with each other. Amidst the poetic island scenery, they rediscover their passion for life and work. Through this journey of returning home, they rediscover the beauty of their hometown and realize their own life values.
