Yu Tu dropped Qiao Jingjing off at her apartment and reminded her of some gaming basics, agreeing to come over the next day at 9 a. m. to begin training. Qiao Jingjing returned home gleefully. Assistant Xiao Zhu reported the situation to Ling Jie, who still felt that something was off about the two of them, despite Yu Tu agreeing to coach Qiao Jingjing. Back at home, Yu Tu saw Qiao Jingjing playing with Di Liang.

Di Liang asked Qiao Jingjing what she thought of Yu Tu. Still smitten by his good looks, she casually replied, “Not bad. ” Yu Tu didn’t expose her identity. Di Liang, surprised that Yu Tu was watching pro matches, asked what Qiao Jingjing looked like. Thinking of the posters everywhere, Yu Tu just replied, “Everywhere. ” Di Liang, clueless, assumed Yu Tu was just being sarcastic.

Little did he know that once he left, Yu Tu recalled Qiao Jingjing’s bright, clear eyes and couldn’t help but smile. The next morning, Qiao Jingjing initially planned to have her assistant bring two breakfasts, but then changed her mind, telling the assistant not to come so she could ask Yu Tu to bring breakfast instead. Yu Tu showed up at her door right on time, breakfast in hand, making Qiao Jingjing feel sweet and delighted.

After breakfast, Yu Tu began the lesson. He had her watch professional gameplay videos. Although she had reached the gold rank on her own, after seeing Yu Tu’s diamond-tier gameplay, she felt discouraged. Pro players were even stronger. According to Yu Tu, she had to reach top-tier rank within a month to have any chance of winning. They began one-on-one training. Yu Tu required Qiao Jingjing to become familiar with every hero’s damage and skills.

Previously, she had only played Wang Zhaojun, but now she was overwhelmed by the many different heroes. After a whole day of harsh defeats, Yu Tu still couldn’t determine which hero suited her, so he asked her to train for two more days. During these days, she underwent his intense and systematic training. Yu Tu targeted her weaknesses one by one, teaching her every skill and knowledge point. After a week of relentless practice, her abilities finally showed improvement.

She excitedly pulled Yu Tu into a team battle. During the match, Xia Qing called Yu Tu, but he declined her call and stayed to finish the game with Qiao Jingjing. After the game, Yu Tu took Xia Qing’s call and left Qiao Jingjing’s home, leaving her a little disappointed. He met up with Xia Qing, who had stopped by from a business trip to Hangzhou. She was surprised to learn Yu Tu was planning to resign.

Back then, he had chosen aerospace over their relationship, but now it seemed like she had meant little to him. Xia Qing asked about his future plans. She knew Beijing DF had made him an offer and told him she was also in Beijing and could help. Yu Tu just replied that he had already declined the offer. Xia Qing didn’t say anything, but her tightly clenched fists betrayed her deep disappointment—and that she still had feelings for Yu Tu.
