The five-person team started another match. Since her usual support role was taken, Yu Tu suggested she play Wang Zhaojun and switch to the flash skill. Qiao Jingjing always admired Yu Tu’s skills, so she followed his advice without hesitation and began seriously watching pro gameplay videos.

After a full day, her gameplay had improved significantly. Her teammates praised her and mentioned how Yu Tu had let her score kills before. Curious about that, Qiao Jingjing messaged Yu Tu on QQ. She was touched by his thoughtfulness. Over the next few days, she stayed home playing games non-stop. When Ling Jie returned from a business trip and found out Qiao Jingjing hadn’t gone to train in person, she rushed to her place.

Wearing masks, they took a walk outside. Yu Tu was surprised to find her on his QQ list. But Yu Tu didn’t seem very excited, leaving Qiao Jingjing slightly disappointed.

Then Yu Tu brought up the game, and Qiao Jingjing honestly explained that she was going to face two pro players in the exhibition match, so she wanted Yu Tu to coach her in person. Since he was on vacation and was her former classmate, she trusted him completely. Even with masks on, Yu Tu could see her smile and was reminded of when she had asked him for math tutoring back in school—he agreed to help her.
