As Yu Tu prepared to head to the airport, the director came to thank him with food. The two said goodbye reluctantly. Someone from the crew posted details online about both Qiao Jingjing and Zhou Ziqi’s boyfriends visiting the set, and netizens were amazed that Qiao Jingjing’s boyfriend was a science and engineering man. That night, Yu Tu video-chatted with Qiao Jingjing. His colleague Da Meng woke up and popped into the frame.

Qiao Jingjing jokingly pretended to be live streaming her traditional makeup look. Though she thought Da Meng wouldn’t believe it, the gullible guy did, and he was surprised by Yu Tu’s vast knowledge. Yu Tu returned to the aerospace institute. Guan Zai had recovered and was back. Yu Tu went to cook dinner for her and received a call from Ling Jie. From the call, he learned Qiao Jingjing would, in fact, be staying for over two months. Remembering what she said, he felt upset. Though he prepared dinner, his tone was cold. Qiao Jingjing, noticing his mood, felt sad and worried he was angry.

As they lay on opposite sides of the bed, Yu Tu brought up the call and asked if she had anything to explain. Qiao Jingjing couldn’t explain well—she just wanted to surprise him and spice things up. Yu Tu, uninterested in explanations, pulled her into another affectionate moment. Yu Tu converted a storage room into a walk-in closet for Qiao Jingjing. She was touched and delighted by his gift. They hugged, treasuring the warmth of the moment.

The next day, Qiao Jingjing saw Yu Tu off to work. She redecorated the apartment into a cozy home and proudly showed off the changes, inviting friends to visit. Later, Ling Jie and Xiao Zhu came by. When they saw the double-layered rotating wardrobe Yu Tu had built, they praised him nonstop. They also talked about Yu Tu’s daily expenses, and Ling Jie was amazed that a former luxury-loving star like Qiao Jingjing now cared about budgeting for Yu Tu’s ¥10,000 monthly loan payment.
