> You Are My Glory Recap
Jingjing started filming. She got stuck on a scene where Director Li thought her emotions weren’t full enough. He yelled “cut” multiple times and paused filming to talk to her. Jingjing was feeling low. Yu Tu called, but she didn’t pick up because of a sore throat and instead chatted by text. Although the scene eventually passed, she still felt disheartened.
Yu Tu comforted her, saying failure was part of daily life for him, so achieving success in the end was what mattered. His words cheered Jingjing up and made her appreciate how wonderful it was to have a soulmate. Yu Tu went on a business trip to Xi’an with his colleague Da Meng. During a video call, Jingjing received praise from the screenwriter who visited her on set, making her very happy. Yu Tu’s work wrapped up successfully.
During the call, he mentioned how Da Meng had asked about the WeChat mini-program. Jingjing saw that Yu Tu had saved her contact as “AI Girl,” chuckled, and said goodbye, not even mentioning the upcoming Starlight Gala in Shanghai. Yu Tu later played basketball with a colleague. They exchanged selfies, and Yu Tu, longing for Jingjing, called her. He missed her deeply and wanted to know when they could meet. In a blink, 26 days had passed.
Jingjing had to return to Shanghai on Saturday for an event. She would finish filming a few scenes in the next few days and could fly back Friday afternoon. As soon as she got time off from the director, she told Yu Tu, who planned to pick her up at the airport. Yu Tu picked up Jingjing, and they acted affectionately in public.
Xiao Zhu couldn’t bear to watch and told them to go off on their own—she had other things to do. The two got into a car together and were photographed by paparazzi, who planned to release the photos on April 1 to expose Jingjing. Unaware, Yu Tu and Jingjing got stuck in traffic on the way home. Realizing Jingjing’s place was too far, Yu Tu suggested they go to his place instead, and Jingjing agreed.
Paparazzi tailed them all the way to Yu Tu’s home. As soon as they arrived, Yu Tu couldn’t help but kiss Jingjing. He brought her inside and took out the slippers he had prepared for her after the New Year. At Yu Tu’s home for the first time, Jingjing was very curious. She saw a model of the Yutu Rover and toured Yu Tu’s room. His room was spotless, filled with books inside and out. Jingjing was surprised.
Yu Tu gave her a rocket plushie. Although she had eaten on the plane, she still had a few bites of the noodles Yu Tu made, only to find them too hard—she couldn’t bring herself to compliment his cooking. She gave the noodles to Yu Tu instead. Then her best friend Chen Xue called to play a game. Yu Tu offered to play for Jingjing, saying he could help Chen Xue rank up to “King” in about an hour.
However, Yu Tu overestimated himself. Using a new hero, he suffered a crushing defeat—losing three times in a row. Finally, after switching to another hero, he won. By then, it was already midnight. Jingjing’s place was too far, so Yu Tu asked her to stay. He gave her his bedroom and slept in the guest room. Jingjing had no choice but to agree.
As Yu Tu went to tidy the guest room, Jingjing realized she had been tricked—Yu Tu had been stalling all along. She challenged him to use the “Diamond” account for solo queue and get 15 kills with the new hero. If he did, she would stay. Yu Tu had no choice but to win the match with 15 kills. Jingjing realized he had been stalling and still wanted to go home, but Yu Tu hugged her.
He said he didn’t have to work tomorrow and could accompany her to the event. He’d been working overtime and hadn’t rested well. It was too late to take her home now. Jingjing, moved and worried about him, agreed to stay the night.
