Yu Tu returned to Shanghai with Qiao Jingjing. Jingjing’s parents questioned her over the phone, and she found herself unable to explain. In their eyes, she had become someone irresponsible and inconsiderate of others’ feelings. Yu Tu was very satisfied with what he had done, believing that Jingjing had made the first move. In his parents' eyes, he too was seen as irresponsible and indifferent.

Later, Di Liang sent Yu Tu a voice message, saying he would find a girlfriend before Yu Tu. Jingjing replied to Di Liang on Yu Tu’s behalf, catching Di Liang completely off guard. He immediately made a video call to Jingjing. On the call, he saw Yu Tu’s smug smile and learned how Yu Tu had once dismissed her, even claiming she was just like anyone else on the street.

Yu Tu realized he’d been thrown under the bus and quickly explained that when he said Jingjing was everywhere, he meant he constantly saw her advertisements on the streets—literally everywhere. Through Yu Tu’s WeChat, Jingjing sent Di Liang’s contact card. After the two added each other, they played a few games—even after returning home, they kept playing. Yu Tu couldn’t bear it anymore and took the phone, helping Jingjing win.

Later, Yu Tu took Jingjing to retrieve a letter—his final letter to her. He believed that once Jingjing read it, everything between them would become clear. Yu Tu read the letter to Jingjing word by word. Jingjing, drowsy from his voice, checked the time and urged him to catch the last subway. But Yu Tu candidly told her he would stay the night. From now on, he would take the initiative in their relationship.

He admitted he wasn’t good at taking the lead and asked Jingjing to be honest if he ever overstepped. Jingjing had to leave for an out-of-town shoot the next day, and Yu Tu planned to take her to the airport at 8 a. m. Faced with such a proactive Yu Tu, Jingjing felt happy from the bottom of her heart. The next day, Xiao Zhu came to see Jingjing and was shocked to find Yu Tu at her place.

She brought breakfast for Jingjing, but Jingjing only ate the one Yu Tu ordered. The two shared and fed each other, even wiping each other’s mouths. Xiao Zhu looked on, stunned, instantly understanding their relationship. After breakfast, Yu Tu took Jingjing to the airport. Ling Jie was delighted to see Yu Tu and decided to start preparing a PR plan. She also told Yu Tu to wear a mask when going out in the future.

As the two said their goodbyes, Yu Tu prepared to return to Yixing. Since Jingjing would be filming for over two months, he realized he had worried too much. Her filming schedule was even longer than his business trips. There was no telling who was delaying whom. After saying goodbye, they kissed through their masks. Ling Jie and Xiao Zhu looked away in embarrassment.

On the plane, although Ling Jie didn’t oppose Jingjing dating, she was very concerned about the details. She wanted to prepare a PR plan in advance, but Jingjing, still immersed in her romance, wasn’t paying much attention. Yu Tu and Jingjing began a long-distance relationship, sharing details of their daily lives. Yu Tu even sent photos of all three meals each day, surprising his colleagues. He simply said it was a newly developed dating mini-program.

Despite being apart for days, their bond only deepened. They worked while on video calls together, never interfering with each other, yet full of affection.
