Jingjing shared her girlish fantasy with Yu Tu—she once imagined him as a brilliant aerospace scientist returning to their alma mater, with her as his partner by his side. Yu Tu told Jingjing honestly that he wasn’t a genius. He used to be overconfident in high school and only realized the vastness of the world after going out. But he was willing to keep working hard for Jingjing and one day fulfill her fantasy.

After visiting their old school, the two walked home hand in hand through the falling snow. Yu Tu walked Jingjing to her doorstep. Jingjing decided to temporarily keep their relationship a secret from her parents. She would return to Shanghai tomorrow, and Yu Tu could accompany her as an old classmate. To make his visit to her house seem less abrupt, Jingjing had even planned a cover story.

Seeing the clever and playful Jingjing, Yu Tu couldn’t help but smile and recall the time she tricked him into coming to her house to fix the air purifier. After washing up, Jingjing lay in bed, waiting for Yu Tu to contact her. He only sent a WeChat message saying he’d call later—he was reporting to his mom. The next day, when Yu Tu called, she asked what kind of report he had been making. Yu Tu chuckled—his mom asked who he had been meeting these past two days. Since Jingjing didn’t want to meet the parents yet, he didn’t reveal her identity. After talking, Yu Tu went downstairs to shovel snow. Jingjing brushed her teeth and suddenly had an idea. She drove alone to find Yu Tu and help him shovel snow.

Relying on memory, Jingjing found Yu Tu’s home and appeared in front of him. Yu Tu was delighted and immediately hugged her. The moment they embraced was witnessed by Yu Tu’s mother, who asked who Jingjing was. Before Yu Tu could respond, Jingjing blinked and said she was his girlfriend. It was just that Yu Tu never brought her home, thinking his parents wouldn’t like her, so she had to come on her own. Yu Tu took the fall.

His mother, knowing Jingjing was his high school classmate, was thrilled they ended up together but still strongly reprimanded Yu Tu for his behavior. Yu Tu took Jingjing to the lake. He drove the boat, surprising her with his skill. When the boat reached the middle of the lake and stopped, Jingjing wondered why. Yu Tu simply said the boat ran out of gas. Then he pulled Jingjing close and kissed her, leaving her face full of sweet romance. Afterward, Jingjing returned home for dinner. She told Yu Tu to wait outside while she laid the groundwork.

Then he could come in as her high school classmate. Once everything was ready, Jingjing asked Yu Tu to come inside so they could leave together. Her parents offered Yu Tu a cup of hot water, but he declined, saying he would have many more chances to visit. Actually, he was Jingjing’s boyfriend. They had been in a long-term relationship, but Jingjing never wanted to bring him home and insisted he say he was just an old classmate. Turning her own trick back on her, Yu Tu helped Jingjing carry her luggage, leaving her stunned and her parents eager to know the full story.
