A Wen learned that Li Chengda was coming tonight to get the safe key and seal from Wei Ruolai, intending to take the box of gold bars for himself. He picked up an iron rod, intending to kill Li Chengda and have Wei Ruolai escape with the gold bars. Wei Ruolai desperately stopped A Wen, explaining that Li Chengda and the investigation team had set a trap for him to fall into.

He didn't dare go home, and even less would he let A Wen take the risk. Wei Ruolai swore to fulfill Wei Ruochuan's last wish and hand over the gold bars to the contact person.
