Luo Zhaoyan came to ask Luo Maiming when he would go to investigate Bian Luohuan. During their conversation, the curse appeared, and Luo Maiming continuously absorbed Luo Zhaoyan's vitality. However, Luo Zhaoyan preferred to have all her vitality absorbed rather than breaking the curse between them. Yue Jinzhao originally wanted to invite Xian Qing to find Luo Maiming together to understand the situation regarding Bian Luohuan's interrogation, but Xian Qing was not interested in Bian Luohuan.
Yue Jinzhao guessed that Xian Qing accepted the invitation to the Luo Family because he had something in mind regarding the Luo Family. Bian Luohuan detected the location of the Hot Sea and took the initiative to come to the Octagonal Tower, where Luo Maiming had also been waiting for a long time.
Bian Luohuan stated that the Hot Sea is the power of life, and the Luo Family flourished in this area, relying on the water source which is actually the Hot Sea. He further confirmed that Luo Maiming was the guardian of the Hot Sea. The only way to prevent the Hot Sea from moving was through blood binding. Bian Luohuan also guessed that the curse of blood binding was the reason why the Luo Family twins could not live past the age of twenty. Seeing that Bian Luohuan had revealed the Luo Family's secret, Luo Maiming asked Bian Luohuan if he knew how to undo the blood binding.
