Ying Xuwei found the entrance to the Rehai (Hot Sea), and Luo Maiming personally received him into the Luo Family. Ying Xuwei claimed that he was the guardian of the Mist Soul and that he had come for the Rehai.

Although Luo Maiming guessed that Hengdao Sect chose to destroy Qiyuan Sect because they had collected enough Qiyuan Pearls, he did not know the origin of Hengdao Sect and the Tianqing Sea, nor did he understand why Ying Xuwei was interested in the Rehai.
