Sweet Dreams Episode 32 Recap
> Sweet Dreams Recap
In a dream. Bo Hai arrived at Yunhe Flower Art, with Ling Lingqi following behind him. Inside the house, little Bo Hai cried out painfully for his mother in the fire, while outside the window, Lu Yunqing left after calling for help a few times. Little Bo Hai was crying heartbreakingly. Ling Lingqi, unable to bear it, reached out her hand wanting to save little Bo Hai. At this moment, Bo Hai suddenly woke up.
The data leak happened during a marketing department meeting, and Mo Nan happened to be absent then, so the blame naturally fell on him. Facing Zhenqi's questioning, Mo Nan appeared very calm. At this point, Lu Baoni stood up and claimed that Mo Nan was with her at the time, strongly helping him clear his suspicion. Bo Hai received a package upon arriving at Huajia; inside was a report about Yunhe Flower Art from that year.
Bo Hai's dream kept recurring in Ling Lingqi's mind. She came to Huajia feeling dejected for a meeting. Valentine's Day was approaching, and flower shops were busy preparing, but the roses on the market were monopolized by Xingli Flower Materials. After the meeting, Ling Lingqi stopped Bo Hai. The two looked at each other but neither spoke, until Bo Hai was called away by Chen Mo. Ling Lingqi stood blankly in front of the supermarket shelf.
Only after last night did she realize that she didn't truly understand Bo Hai. She had even confidently vowed to cure Bo Hai's illness, which was utterly ridiculous. Bo Hai, Chen Mo, and Zhou Xinyan met with Boss Huang of Xingli Flower Materials. Bo Hai proposed to buy Xingli's roses at a price twenty percent higher than the market price, but Boss Huang refused, generously deciding to sell them at market price. Bo Hai was naturally pleased.
This scene of the two toasting was captured by a reporter outside the window. Night fell, and heavy rain pattered down in the city. Bo Hai saw Ling Lingqi still busy inside the branch store and could only quietly leave an umbrella for her. Zhou Xinyan, seeing this scene from inside her car, muttered to herself that his actions didn't match his words.
Bo Hai was indeed contradictory; while verbally telling Ling Lingqi to stay away from him, he still silently followed behind her in the rain to escort her home, only turning to leave after seeing the silhouette he longed for disappear. Ling Lingqi returned home intending to thoroughly understand Bo Hai, so she opened her computer, but whether she searched for Bo Hai or Yunhe Flower Art, it was all blank.
The next day, Bo Hai showed Chen Mo the package he received and asked him to find out the sender's identity. Lu Baoni and Mo Nan were sent to Ling Lingqi's branch store to help. Lu Baoni enthusiastically distributed drinks to everyone, while Mo Nan kept watching Ling Lingqi's busy figure. Ling Lingqi complained that she couldn't find anything about Bo Hai's background. Mo Nan offered advice, suggesting she go to the library to look for old newspapers.
Chen Mo traced the sender's address but found nothing. Chen Mo left disappointed, leaving behind Ji Bin's sinister figure. Xingli Flower Materials' roses had arrived, but Bo Hai felt there was a conspiracy behind it. After all, the matter had gone too smoothly, yet he couldn't find any breakthroughs, so he could only tell everyone in the company to proceed with caution.
Bo Hai's gaze fixed on a photo of him and his mother, taken on the opening day of Yunhe Flower Art, with the mother and son together. Memories slowly traveled back twenty years. Yunhe Flower Art was slandered for passing off inferior goods as superior, and the media extensively reported on it. Little Bo Hai was also ostracized by his classmates. To defend his mother, little Bo Hai got into a fight with those children.
Back home, his mother was called away by a phone call before she could even tend to his injuries, and she didn't return until very late. Little Bo Hai, worried about his mother, walked alone with his small shadow to Yunhe Flower Art, only to find that the house had been engulfed by fire. After visiting the library, Ling Lingqi had learned about those past events from that year. Kind-hearted Ling Lingqi felt terribly upset.
She had never imagined that Bo Hai had experienced such painful things. She sadly came to the company and hugged Bo Hai, trying to offer a little comfort to herself and to Bo Hai. Bo Hai, however, completely ignored Ling Lingqi, who was crying sorrowfully. He told Ling Lingqi to stay away from him and even said words like never seeing each other again. Hearing this, Ling Lingqi cried even harder.
Mo Nan rushed in from outside the door and took Ling Lingqi away. Bo Hai watched the two walk away hand in hand without stopping them. For him, this might be another form of release. Ling Lingqi cried sadly, and Mo Nan felt even more heartbroken watching her. He had originally thought that as long as Ling Lingqi was happy, he would be at peace, but he couldn't stand to see Ling Lingqi hurt by Bo Hai again and again. Mo Nan confessed his love. Faced with this sincere emotion right before her eyes, Ling Lingqi, feeling a bit flustered, made an excuse and left.
