> Sunshine by My Side Recap
Luo Meijuan, radiant in the setting sun, transformed beautifully for the commercial shoot, and Sheng Xiangqian was visibly captivated by her charm. Jian Bing, the director, was very pleased with Luo Meijuan's performance and gifted her the outfit she wore, leaving Luo Meijuan overwhelmed with gratitude. As Sheng Yang walked Jian Bing out, she complimented his parents' loving relationship and his reliable nature, attributing it to a good family environment. He then asked for her WeChat contact.
Before she left, Sheng Yang gave her a "Moonlight Treasure Box," a gift inspired by an idea he got from her. Jian Bing’s assistant, Yuan, who was waiting downstairs, remarked on Sheng Yang's gesture. Later, Jian Bing opened the box to find a digital Mid-Autumn Festival greeting from Sheng Yang, which brought a warm smile to her face.
Meanwhile, with the ice hockey league's group stage set for the 15th of the following month, the coach announced intensive training and appointed Jian Shuang as interim captain. Team members, led by a vocal Luo Tianliang, immediately questioned her leadership. Hao Junjie arrived just in time to defend Jian Shuang, citing her superior scoring rate and perfect penalty record. While unable to play in the tournament, he offered to act as an "external assistant" and oversee their training.
He then publicly handed Jian Shuang the captain's jersey, and she immediately instructed the begrudging team to begin drills. At home, Luo Meijuan prepared a large dinner. Sheng Xiangqian attempted to charm her, and though she was initially resistant, their tense relationship began to soften, a sight that filled Sheng Yang with quiet happiness. Upon returning from a trip, Sheng Yang's boss, Wang Youde, learned of his promotion to Chief Designer.
In a team meeting, Wang Youde claimed credit for Sheng Yang's advancement before assigning him a notoriously difficult project: the Park Hyatt's traditional offline promotional event. A concerned colleague, Song Chen, tried to signal Sheng Yang to refuse the assignment, but Sheng Yang accepted the challenge, later admitting to Song Chen that he knew it was a setup.
Jian Shuang called Jian Bing for help, explaining that their captain, Hao Junjie, was being held at home by his uncle, Fang Mu, to study piano. With the team on the verge of disbanding after graduation, she stressed how crucial his presence was. Jian Bing agreed to help on several conditions: Jian Shuang must pass all her courses, complete her academic credits, secure an internship, and pass her CET-6 exam.
Despite her trepidation, Jian Shuang agreed and promised to put it in writing. Jian Bing went to Fang Mu’s house. While he made coffee, she discreetly told Hao Junjie to feign a stomach ache to his piano teacher and escape. Jian Bing then distracted Fang Mu with Jian Shuang’s transcript, showing him her three failed courses. As Fang Mu became absorbed in the problem, Hao Junjie slipped out.
When Fang Mu realized, he erupted in anger, but Jian Bing apologized and offered to accompany him to the school to find them. At the rink, the team was complaining about Jian Shuang's training methods until Hao Junjie’s arrival silenced them. He and Jian Shuang began running a play they designed, and the team fell into line. Jian Bing and Fang Mu arrived and watched the scrimmage.
Fang Mu worried about the sport's danger, while Jian Bing found it interesting and pointed out Hao Junjie, number 17, scoring a goal and Jian Shuang, number 32, playing well. To smooth things over, Jian Bing offered her company's professional studio for Hao Junjie's interview video and they exchanged WeChat contacts.
Fang Mu continued to argue that hockey was a waste of time, but Jian Bing countered that youth is for challenging limits and that forcing someone to abandon their passion is akin to "killing" a part of them. When the halftime whistle blew, Jian Shuang and Hao Junjie spotted their guardians and fled. As Fang Mu gave chase, Jian Bing jokingly told him to scold Jian Shuang on her behalf before leaving.
