Kong Youyue and Pu Yangbo struggle with their attempts, with Youyue finding the water she tries to control has a will of its own, and Puyang Bo lamenting their limited aptitude.
At the behest of Moyang Chen, Xi Yun confronts Situ Hong, demanding he capture Yu Jingqiu for the Demon Clan. Situ Hong hesitates, claiming he is no match for her, but Xi Yun accuses him of being merely reluctant. Xi Yun then threatens that if Situ Hong disobeys, his demonic and righteous techniques will clash, depleting his power and causing immense agony within three days. Coerced, Situ Hong agrees to try.
Meanwhile, Bai Yuanzhi lures Yu Jingqiu to the secluded Black Wind Cliff under the pretense of transferring the dangerous Snowflake Mark from her to himself. His true plan, however, is to kill her if the transfer fails, believing it necessary for the safety of the Xia Clan. Before he can act, Situ Hong intervenes, rescuing the weakened Yu Jingqiu. He takes her to his late aunt's vacant house to recover.
Grateful, and not wanting to worry Dongbo Xueying in her weakened state, she accepts his offer of refuge. Unbeknownst to Yu Jingqiu, Situ Hong immediately reports her location to the Demon God Association. As Yu Jingqiu had hoped, Ao Lan arrives to capture her. Intending to locate the enemy's headquarters, she deliberately puts up little resistance. Once inside the base, she hears Xi Yun's voice and recognizes she is at the Demon God Association's headquarters.
Remembering Dongbo Xueying's training, she uses her hairpin to send him a signal. Dongbo Xueying becomes frantic when he cannot find Yu Jingqiu. Bai Yuanzhi confesses to taking her to Black Wind Cliff but lies that she was abducted by a mysterious figure with a demonic claw. Just then, Xueying receives and deciphers Yu Jingqiu's signal, understanding she has been captured intentionally to act as a guide.
He instructs Kong Youyue and Pu Yangbo to alert other disciples for backup while he enters the Void Realm, separating his spirit from his body. Guided by the signal, he successfully navigates the chaotic dimension and finds the enemy base, where he sees not only Yu Jingqiu but also his captive mother, Moyang Yu.
Inside the base, Ao Lan reveals their plan: to use the extracted Snowflake Mark and a Soul Condensing Pill refined from Moyang Yu's Ancient Bloodline to resurrect the Great Demon God. Yu Jingqiu confronts Xi Yun, calling him a traitor. Xi Yun mockingly reveals that he is not the person she once knew but a disposable underling from the Temple of the Earth God whose body was taken over, and that his loyalty lies with whoever grants him power.
Dongbo Xueying and his companions storm the base just as the Great Demon God's remnant, Da Er Hao, bursts from the bronze coffin to the cheers of his followers. However, Moyang Yu breaks her chains and confronts the demon, revealing she has waited twenty years for this moment, ever since Moyang Chen's first visit. She had allowed herself to be a prisoner to find the demon's remnant and destroy it. Dongbo Xueying finally understands his mother's sacrifice.
Moyang Yu opens an Ancient Space, a vortex keyed to her bloodline that begins to pull both her and Da Er Hao in. Dongbo Xueying desperately grabs her, but she tearfully explains this is the only way to destroy the demon and that protecting the Xia Clan is her duty. Forcibly pushing her son away, she is consumed by the vortex along with the demon, making the ultimate sacrifice.
Overwhelmed by grief, Dongbo Xueying's Ancient Bloodline erupts, breaking through his sealed meridians and elevating him to the Saint realm. The immense power surge renders him unconscious. In a dream, he sees a happy reunion with his mother at Xueying Territory, only for the vision to fade, leaving him alone. After he awakens, Kong Youyue confides in her master, expressing deep regret and helplessness over her inability to contribute during the battle.
Her master advises her to let go of her obsessions and reconcile with herself, noting that everyone has their own value. Later, Yu Jingqiu takes Dongbo Xueying to the Destruction Mountain Range, where they first met. She reminds him of his resilience and charm even when he had no power, encouraging him to regain his spirit. She then reveals that his awakened Ancient Bloodline now clashes with her divine power, preventing her from healing him and making her feel useless.
Dongbo Xueying reassures her that her presence is what matters most. They grill fish together, but Yu Jingqiu is suddenly struck by a severe coughing fit. She dismisses it, but later asks Kong Youyue not to tell Dongbo Xueying about her worsening condition, fearing it would distract him from his recovery.
