Gu Weiyi was left bewildered after Si Tu Mo playfully mentioned he had kissed her before, implying it happened when he was drunk. He couldn't recall anything from that night after he fell asleep. As he brushed his teeth, he was still troubled, muttering about how he got drunk and simply fell asleep until morning. Si Tu Mo, overhearing him, became increasingly annoyed that he had forgotten.

Gu Weiyi lamented that he wished there was a recording function to confirm his hazy memories. Before Si Tu Mo left, he reminded her to zip up the cat's backpack, which further irritated her as she felt he was implying she was forgetful. Determined to make him remember, Si Tu Mo retrieved several cans of beer from the fridge and insisted he drink them. Despite his protests about needing to go to the lab, he complied under her intense gaze.

When he could drink no more, Si Tu Mo leaned in, urging him to concentrate, and the memory of him kissing her finally flooded his mind. He instinctively leaned in again, only for Si Tu Mo to push him away. Both of them were left feeling flustered and nervous. Still preoccupied with the morning's events, Gu Weiyi was in the lab, absentmindedly stirring chemicals with a pipette.

When Xie Yu Yin questioned his sudden interest in chemistry, he vaguely replied that he was attempting to make a simple antiseptic. Similarly, Si Tu Mo was distracted at her company. Her colleague, Jie Er, tried to discuss the orange juice advertisement proposal, but Si Tu Mo gave perfunctory responses, clearly lost in thought about Gu Weiyi. Meanwhile, in the lab, Zhou Lei immediately inquired about his kitten, asking Gu Weiyi if it missed him.

Prof. Jiang sternly rebuked Zhou Lei, accusing him of being distracted by "messy thoughts" like the kitten, which was why he consistently got the lowest marks in the group. Zhou Lei retorted, suggesting Prof. Jiang take the cat, as neither the lab nor the dorm (due to the dorm keeper, who is Prof. Jiang's wife) allowed pets. He blamed Prof. Jiang's family for his predicament, leaving the professor speechless.

Si Tu Mo, back at work, had to focus on arranging a meeting room for a 3 PM discussion on the design proposals. At the university basketball court, Wang Shan clearly asserted her claim over Fu Pei, actively engaging with him. Zhou Lei attempted to find someone to take Ding Dang for its vaccination appointment, but Gu Weiyi refused due to a professional exam, and their Senior declined as she was busy correcting her thesis.

Zhou Lei then set his sights on Prof. Jiang, claiming the professor was the "freest," but Prof. Jiang quickly dismissed the idea. Still distracted by his concern for the kitten, Zhou Lei continued to struggle with his experiments, drawing further criticism from Prof. Jiang. Meanwhile, at Si Tu Mo's company, a design meeting was underway. The art director was dissatisfied with the proposals, so Li Na, the creative director, stepped in to offer guidance.

She suggested approaching design by evaluating someone you like, much like measuring everything with a "perfect form." This sparked an idea in Si Tu Mo, who, after the meeting, created a detailed score sheet to evaluate Gu Weiyi's recent actions. Back in the lab, Gu Weiyi, still distressed by his forgotten kiss and subsequent rejection, sought Prof. Jiang's advice. Zhou Lei, eavesdropping, declared Gu Weiyi's actions amounted to harassment.

However, Prof. Jiang proposed a scientific approach to "conquer" Si Tu Mo, suggesting they formulate hypotheses. He outlined three possibilities: Si Tu Mo likes Gu Weiyi, hates him, or feels neutral. He warned that if Si Tu Mo disliked him, she might avoid communication. Therefore, he concluded, Gu Weiyi needed to find a romantic location where Si Tu Mo couldn't easily escape, forcing her to listen to his confession.

With this advice given, Prof. Jiang promptly left, presumably to take the kitten for its vaccination. Following Prof. Jiang's advice, Gu Weiyi went to Si Tu Mo's company to pick her up. While she was on a call, Si Tu Mo accidentally dropped her score sheet for Gu Weiyi. He quickly picked it up, saw his dismal negative ten score, and felt a pang of disappointment.

Despite Si Tu Mo stating she wasn't hungry after her tea break, Gu Weiyi tried to insist on getting food. As they walked, they encountered a stray kitten. Hoping to earn back some points, Gu Weiyi, despite his cat allergy, attempted to pick up the kitten, but it was a clumsy failure, not helping his score. Next, he tried to impress her with his intellect, calling Prof. Jiang and launching into a complex explanation of quantum physics.

However, Prof. Jiang, who was at the pet clinic spoiling Ding Dang after its vaccination, abruptly hung up, more concerned with feeding the kitten. Undeterred, Gu Weiyi then led Si Tu Mo to an amusement park, a romantic location he hoped would fit the professor's criteria. Si Tu Mo was thrilled by the amusement park itself and wanted to ride the roller coaster, but Gu Weiyi, finding it too noisy for a confession, insisted on the bumper cars.

He began to confess to her, but the chaotic nature of the bumper car game, with their car repeatedly getting hit, made a proper confession impossible. He even tried to suggest "one more time" to confess, but Si Tu Mo declined. After the bumper car chaos, Si Tu Mo encouraged Gu Weiyi to speak, but before he could, Prof. Jiang called, distressed that Ding Dang had suddenly stopped moving after its vaccination.

Gu Weiyi and Si Tu Mo immediately rushed to the pet clinic. Prof. Jiang, visibly anxious, was relieved when the doctor explained that the kitten was merely experiencing a common reaction to vaccines: a fever and drowsiness. Si Tu Mo then suggested taking Ding Dang home, but Prof. Jiang had grown deeply attached to the kitten and insisted on keeping it, declaring it would live with him from now on.

Gu Weiyi, still trying to gain points with Si Tu Mo, attempted another clumsy hug of the kitten, but Prof. Jiang quickly reclaimed his "baby." Despite Gu Weiyi's awkwardness, Si Tu Mo seemed touched by his efforts. Upon returning home, their robot vacuum, Circle, indicated its battery was low, but Gu Weiyi, prioritizing gaining points, humorously stated it needed to "grow up itself" and ignored it.

He then noticed the clogged drain and, without prompting, offered to fix it, announcing its completion after a moment. He then found Si Tu Mo asleep and offered to get her Liuzhou River Snails Rice Noodle, realizing she hadn't eaten dinner. Gu Weiyi gently carried the sleeping Si Tu Mo back to her bed, but found his hand trapped underneath her. He stayed there, captivated by her sweet sleeping face.

The next morning, he made sure to buy her favorite Liuzhou River Snails Rice Noodle. Despite his aversion to its strong smell, he held his nose and cooked it for her, making her incredibly happy. As Si Tu Mo ate, Gu Weiyi sat watching her. Feeling awkward under his gaze, she pointed it out, to which he replied he was simply waiting to wash the bowl.

Si Tu Mo then offered to clean up herself if he disliked the smell, but Gu Weiyi insisted it was fine. After a moment, Si Tu Mo looked up and directly asked him, "Gu Weiyi, do you like me?"
