Mu Xingchen silenced her and quickly sent her to the tribe to warn them of impending danger. Arriving at the mist forest, Mu Xingchen was accompanied by Chu Tianyao, while Ye Yunshang followed angrily. Qiao Zhen Tian suddenly fell ill, and in their confusion, Mu Xingchen's master, Kong Chan, appeared.
Kong Chan was startled to discover Qiao Zhen Tian was Qiao Zheng Kun's son, revealing herself as the mysterious woman who poisoned Qiao Zheng Kun and Qiao Zhen Tian's biological mother. Kong Chan suppressed Qiao Zhen Tian's virus, assuring him it was not hereditary. When Qiao Zheng Kun and his men arrived, she tried to use magic to teach him a lesson but was injured by the police's intense gunfire.
Qiao Zhen Tian attempted to persuade his father, but Qiao Zheng Kun refused to listen. During their argument, the chief and his men surrounded them. The chief urged Qiao Zheng Kun to retreat, but Qiao Zheng Kun defiantly refused. Yue Ying's father, Yue Kun, warned them of the tribe's strength, but Qiao Zheng Kun scoffed, dismissing them as "people in strange clothes." To avoid harming innocents, the chief agreed to a contest with Qiao Zheng Kun.
If Qiao Zheng Kun won, the tribe would retreat fifteen miles and allow his investigation. If the tribe won, Qiao Zheng Kun would immediately leave and never return. During discussions about who would fight, Mu Xingchen burst in, offering to fight and explaining the sacred tree's illness. However, Kong Chan and others deemed it inappropriate for him, as the master, to fight. Niu Jun, the tribe's strongman, volunteered, boasting an undefeated record, and the chief accepted.
Yue Kun was displeased to see Mu Xingchen with another woman. Chu Tianyao introduced herself as Mu Xingchen's fiancée, but Yue Kun angrily shut her down, stating Mu Xingchen would never violate tribe rules. He ordered guards to seize her, but Chu Tianyao nervously declared she couldn't be arrested because she was pregnant with Mu Xingchen's child, astonishing everyone, including Mu Xingchen. Kong Chan used magic to confirm Chu Tianyao's pregnancy.
Mu Xingchen, disbelieving, questioned it, while Ye Yunshang angrily retorted, "Why not?" and ran off, with Mu Xingchen in pursuit. Kong Chan advised the chief to treat Chu Tianyao kindly, as she carried the tribe's bloodline, and the chief, agreeing the child was innocent, entrusted Chu Tianyao to Kong Chan's care.
Mu Xingchen stopped Ye Yunshang to explain, but she shrugged off his hand, stating they would only be ordinary friends and wishing them happiness before crying and running off again. Yue Ying comforted Mu Xingchen, offering to persuade Ye Yunshang. As Yue Ying pursued Ye Yunshang, Leiya and her group stormed into the tribe. Leiya shot Yue Ying, who was then rescued by Shi Hu. Mu Xingchen examined Yue Ying's injuries, discovering a poisoned bullet, making her condition critical.
Shi Hu tearfully pleaded with Yue Ying not to leave him. Kong Chan took Chu Tianyao to her residence, offering to take her as a disciple, having been alone for many years. Chu Tianyao joyfully accepted, vowing to obey her "reborn parent" and kowtowed to Kong Chan. Leiya attempted to infiltrate the tribe to steal a holy fruit for Qiao Zhen Tian's illness but failed.
Qiao Zhen Tian was comforting her when Ye Yunshang returned, causing him to turn his attention to comforting Ye Yunshang instead. Leiya envied Ye Yunshang for having such a loving man.
