The Ghost King led the various sects of the Demonic Sect to Qingyun, threatening to flatten Qingyun and demanding that Tian Buyi hand over the Zhuxian Sword. Tian Buyi stated that it was absolutely impossible. He and Shui Yue led Xue Qi, Xiao Fan, Lin Jingyu, and many other disciples to fight a decisive battle against the Demonic Sect.

Bi Yao had been searching for Xiao Fan's figure, and seeing Xiao Fan confront the Poison God, she couldn't help but feel a little worried. Xiao Fan saw his master dueling with the Ghost King, so he dealt a fatal blow to the Poison God and rushed to support his master. During his confrontation with the Ghost King, Xiao Fan was severely wounded and lay on the ground. At this moment, Dao Xuan arrived with the Zhuxian Sword.

Qing Long came before Xiao Fan, stating that he knew Zhang Xiaofan needed rest in his current state, but time was urgent, and the Ghost King wanted to see him. In truth, for Qing Long, he also could not accept the fact of Bi Yao's passing. After all, he was Bi Yao's most doting elder brother. He said that if killing Xiao Fan could revive Bi Yao, then he might just do it, but that was not the case.

He remembered Bi Yao had said that he had once experienced something akin to death at Dinghai Manor, on Mount Guansang. Xiao Fan understood what the Ghost King was getting at and immediately offered to go to Guansing Cliff, but the Ghost King said that would take too long.

He explained that in the Barren Divine Hall, their main headquarters, there was a spell that could extend Bi Yao's life for seven days by utilizing the power of the Heavenly Book. They could use these seven days to temporarily keep Bi Yao alive while they searched for other methods to revive her. The Ghost King led Xiao Fan into the hall to perform the spell for Bi Yao.

Looking at the sleeping Bi Yao, Xiao Fan began to tell her the words he had always wanted to say. The Ghost King entered the hall and told Xiao Fan that they should work together to save Bi Yao, and that he could tell her those words when she woke up. You Ji had been blaming herself, feeling that she hadn't taken good care of Bi Yao. Qing Long comforted her.

Wild Dog burst in, shouting, and told them that Cang Song had arrived. Cang Song came with Yu Yangzi; they intended to take advantage of the situation to eliminate the Ghost King. Qing Long fought Cang Song with all his might, but fighting one against two was ultimately difficult. Qing Long was trapped in place by Yu Yangzi's spell, unable to move. Fortunately, the Ghost King arrived, severely injuring Yu Yangzi, and Cang Song left with him.

At Qingyun, Dao Xuan was recuperating behind closed doors, while Shui Yue and Zheng Liang were bedridden with severe injuries. Tian Buyi instructed the disciples to learn how to handle various matters. Jingyu worried about Xiao Fan's safety. Tian Buyi expressed his satisfaction that these children had all grown up, and stated that he would listen to their opinions this time. Xiao Yicai volunteered, offering to go gather information on the Demonic Sect. Jingyu expressed willingness to go with Xiao Yicai. The Ghost King was severely injured. You Ji and Jin Ping'er came to visit him.

The Ghost King expressed that Jin Ping'er had let Lin Jingyu go last time, asking how he could trust her again this time.
