Zeng Shushu told Ghost Master that the city's people were all afflicted with Gu poison, asking if he could lift the Gu poison and rescue them.

The blood bats were startled and flew towards them all at once.

Zeng Shushu took out his treasured mirror to resist the blood bats, but its power greatly diminished after a while, its light grew faint, and soon the treasured mirror was snatched by the blood bats.
