Upon arrival, Jiang Xiaoning's excitement was palpable as she compared herself to Cinderella going to a ball and asked Gu Chuan to take her picture.
While Gu Chuan reminded her the visit was for learning, she continued to playfully engage him, asking about the "conservation of luck" and expressing how her own "bad luck" had turned into "good luck" since she met him, praising his role in her getting a good job and learning opportunities. Gu Chuan teased her for flattering him but also acknowledged her strong comprehension and talent in design, noting she had previously lacked opportunities. Meanwhile, Gu Chuan activated the crow doll he received from Jiang Xiaoning, which played her imitation of his voice, "Jiang Xiaoning, you either work hard or just leave." Both of them smiled upon hearing the recordings.
The team-building event seemed to mark a positive shift in Gu Chuan and Jiang Xiaoning’s relationship. Upon arriving at the lakeside cafe, Jiang Xiaoning became lost in thought, captivated by the scenic view.
